🕑 Added 2024-04-01 13:25:10 +0000 UTCHey everybody! I don't have anything I particularly want to ramble about today. I'll just recap you on what I've been up to.
I'm pretty much over being sick. It lasted about a week or so. Still got a little bit of a cough and wake up a little snotty in the morning, but after an hour or so, I'm feeling pretty good.
I've fallen into a pretty good routine over the last couple of months. I get up at 7am. Have breakfast and relax for a bit. Then I get to work at 8 and work until sometime between 3-5. At some point in that time, I work out for an hour and I take an hour lunch.
My workouts have been, twice a week strength training at the gym, three times per week running at the park, and once or twice a week, riding my bike somewhere. If you want to follow my workouts a little more, I'm going to make a diary on Discord, I think. I'm going to start talking a little less about them here. This isn't an exercise Patreon after all.
Then after work for the day, I clean house, fold laundry, whatever. Then dinner. Then usually play a game for a bit and do some stretches before bed.
Then, once a week I'll take a day off and just do something fun.
I've really liked this routine a lot. I enjoy my workouts. I feel like I'm getting better and I look forward to them pretty much every day.
So, the last week, that has been my routine. I didn't do my strength training at the gym though, because I was still sick-ish, but I did strength training at home with bodyweight exercises and dumbbells. I did run though, and have been improving there. And I rode about 8 miles on my bike one day.
We've been looking for food trucks that we could ride our bikes to for lunch once a week or so. We did that a couple weeks ago and it was really fun. Get a little exercise in to work off the food, plus it sort of incorporates the exercise into my lunch break, so I don't have to take as much time off of work during the day.
I've still been playing Ys 8, and I've loved it. Almost done with it though - expect I'll finish it tonight or tomorrow.
Aside from that, not much going on with me! Had a nice little lunch with my mom and sister for Easter yesterday. That's about it.
