RJ Rambles about routines
🕑 Added 2024-03-18 13:08:01 +0000 UTCHey everybody! Just a quick ramblings this morning, because I don't have a whole lot to talk about. I've fallen into a pretty good routine of getting up (I've been getting up an hour earlier than I used to for about a month now), eating a quick breakfast, working on the game, doing some sort of workout for an hour before lunch, lunch, then working on the game some more, then doing whatever I want to do in the evening - usually playing video games, going somewhere with my wife, or watching something on TV.
I'm feeling good about all of it. I like routine. I feel like I have to have a good routine to get things done, otherwise I'll spend an hour or so playing on my phone trying to decide what I should be doing next. When I'm in a routine like this, I get a lot done.
Of course, something always comes along to break up the routine. Then I have to somehow have to find my way back. But, I guess the longer you keep doing things, the easier it is to fall back into those routines.
Anyways, that's my ramblings for the day. A bunch of stuff that I'm sure everybody already knows and thinks about, but I'm just now, in my thirties, figuring out. Feeling a little late to the party on a lot of things, but I'm getting there.
I don't really have much else to say. I finished Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth - it was great. I started playing Tales of Arise. It's pretty good so far. Other than that, everything has just been routine.

I'm 55 and I'm still learning adult stuff. You don't learn everything at once, it's a discovery as you go on living.
