🕑 Added 2025-01-29 21:43:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
After soooo much prototyping and testing, I'm so stoked to release this dragon mask for y'all! This is the very first mask I've done and a member suggestion that you all voted on! I had a blast working on it and am really proud of how it came out. I definitely plan on doing more masks in the future!
Includes 2 different eye types depending on your preferences and 6 different interchangeable horn types.
Base mask is 9 inches from top to bottom and about 6 inches side to side, so scale as needed!
Filament is D3D black and hand painted. Multicolor 3MF file included.
Print recs:
2-3 walls
5-15% infill
No supports
Add brim for best adhesion
Scale up or down as desired (Base scale is 9 inches top to bottom and 6 inches side to side)
Can add 2 rubber bands on the inside of the jaw to add tension for closure.
Lower jaw snaps into ball sockets on either side.
Horns snap into ball joints
Eye sets can be glued in or alternative eyes added as you like
There are slots for straps on either side and top of the head

Has any thought been given to use magnets for the eyes?
Kirsten McKenzie

Thank you. Thats what I was guessing but wasnโt sure
Kirsten McKenzie
I used a meshy fabric I found at michaels! :)
Daphne Walker
Did you use material to black out the eyes?
Ktothestank
this is awesome just a few requests :) can you add a little extra length to the horns there are about 3mm short and wobble a bit that ball joint works awesome just would be nice for a little extra support on the horns! (foam insert does work as an alternative). Also could you make a strap clasp for tightening them? I'll probably make my own but would help those who cant so they can use a way to sinch it onto their faces easier! (maybe a simple 3 way one for the back of head to bring the sides and top together that simple?
Kirsten McKenzie
Aww yay, thanks so much!! And yessss that'll be awesome! I'm excited to see!

My straps are an inch wide and get a little scrunched but I like them kinda fitting tight through the holes! You could do 3/4" too!
Kirsten McKenzie
Thank you! Used 2 different metallic/color shift acrylics layered with some dry brushing, no spray :)
