Knowing I wasn’t going to be there when they decided whether to take the return or not was surprisingly nerve wracking for some reason. Even though they were brand new shoes, I put more effort into examining and cleaning them before I shipped them back to the distributor than I’ve ever put into readying a pair of shoes before wearing them. When my appearance and self-respect are at stake, I don’t seem to put in any effort, but now that there’s a refund on the line, everything must be perfect!

Noted! I've had a lot of trouble with consistent sizing from other shoe brands. I'm excited about Authorities 2 as well! I'm very proud of it!

"I didn't mean that as a compliment" made me snørt REALLY loud. Glad I'm on my own, or there would be very odd looks. Here we have 14/30 day return policy depending on the store. Shoes are the hardest to buy, though. The only ones that worked for me were Sketchers. The rest is always JUST a bit too tight, or a bit too loose, or a bit too short, or simply intent on biting my feet off.

New Balance. Try one pair on in the store and then feel safe ordering that size forever. Plus the shoes are branded by number. I order the same size pair every couple of years. Haven't failed yet. And am really excited about The Authorities 2!!
