How to Figure Out Someone Else's Plan

When I was a kid, the Central Washington State fair was one of the highlights of the year. I was mainly in it for the rides, but I enjoyed the whole experience. The sight of the prized vegetables. The smell of the prized animals. Dipping my hand in the hot tub salesman’s display model to verify that the water truly was hot.
Looking back, I realize how starved for entertainment and novelty I was.

It was a tough judgement call.

Mine had lumberjack competitions, but they didn't let us yokels actually handle the axes.

The line about high velocity pumpkins raining down from above really should've been the line taken out of context this week. I'm still giggling at the thought.

@Bjorn Larssen My son reported that there was an axe throwing booth (cage, actually) at this year's county fair.
