Chapter 9
Gwen hurried into the fancy restaurant with flushed cheeks from the cool night air, late and out of breath. She was ready to apologise profusely to Pete, and what better way to do that than to turn up wearing a leather skirt and stockings?
The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, though given how rich the clientele looked she figured that had more to do with its exclusivity than its popularity. She hid her grin at the raised eyebrows directed at her and strode to the man standing by a lectern at the entrance with purpose, impeccably dressed in a fine tux.
She gave the maitre d her name and allowed him to lead her to the table where her boyfriend was bent over and fiddling with something. She thanked the waiter but, instead of joining Pete immediately, she just watched what he was doing with awe.
He looked to be fiddling with a writhing black mass not too dissimilar to the symbiotic nanites he’d had her consume, but this time it looked like he was controlling them somehow, his hands surrounding the blob but never touching it.
She watched with fascination as the mass transformed into a toy car the size of a mobile phone - it looked remarkably realistic.
‘It’s not a toy,’ Pete called out to her without even turning, as if reading her mind, his tone filled with amusement. ‘It’s a real car - just small…oh, wow.’
He turned - once again entirely too pleased with himself that she could never sneak up on him - before freezing in shock, his eyes zeroing in on her stocking clad legs with surprise and desire.
Now it was her turn to be amused. Instead of taking a seat, she stood next to him, her hand on his shoulder and her legs right in his eyeline. ‘What do you mean it’s not a toy? It sure looks like one.’
It took Pete a bit to regain higher brain function, a slight squeeze to the shoulder snapping him out of his lustful thoughts.
This is what happens when he goes without for a few days… I’ve created a monster.
‘Uh, right,’ he sputtered, clearing his throat as he turned back to his toy. ‘It’s an actual car, just small. Watch.’
Gwen’s eyes widened when the toy’s engine started, the lights turning on and the side mirrors unfolding. Pete then had it drive around the table a few times before disassembling it again.
‘You know I’m always impressed with everything you do, so please don’t take this the wrong way, but what’s the point of that exactly?’
Pete chuckled as he got up and held out her chair for her. She smiled at the gesture and the two sat across from each other, reaching across the table so they could hold hands. ‘None taken - this specifically? This is just a demonstration for Tony - he really likes that car and I’ll need it to convince him to let me do something…drastic.’
She narrowed her eyes in thought. ‘Does this have anything to do with what Riri wanted you to do?’
He winked and shot finger guns at her. ‘Not just a pretty face. How did I get so lucky?’
She laughed and squeezed his hands but he froze when she bit her lip, a mischievous look in her eyes.
He knew exactly what that look meant.
‘Sorry I was late,’ she began conversationally. ‘I lost track of time tailing Miles - it’s his first night on patrol alone and, well -’
‘It’s always hard letting your children go, I understand,’ he teased and she grinned, acknowledging the point. As they ordered their food, Gwen slipped off her shoe and, reaching across from under the table, started running her toe up and down the inside of Pete’s thigh. It took all of her impressive willpower to not openly laugh as he froze, then struggled through the rest of their order, all the while she smiled innocently at him. The absolute picture of a perfect, innocent girlfriend above the table.

When the waiter left, he turned back to her, eyes wide. ‘Are you crazy?!’
‘What do you mean?’ she teased, her foot rising higher and rubbing the obvious bulge in his chinos directly. ‘Oh, is that for me?’
Gwen kept the teasing up all throughout their dinner, making extra special effort whenever they were joined at the table by waiters and sycophants who recognised him for his work and wanted a word.
Pete was becoming world famous now, making date nights a real choir. They’d specifically chosen this exclusive restaurant so they wouldn’t have to deal with this kind of thing, but it turned out even the elite couldn’t control themselves.
Still, watching Pete struggle with his annoyance and arousal both made it all worth it for Gwen. His admirers had thought his flushed cheeks were from embarrassment at being noticed, a charming personality quirk. If only they knew he was being pleasured by his girlfriend’s foot under the table.
What would they say if they just looked down and saw my foot?
She shivered in delight, the perfect smile she’d plastered on her face not faltering in the slightest.

When his latest admirers left, Pete turned to her, his cheeks red. ‘Sorry, I thought we wouldn’t have to deal with this here,’ he apologised, his hand going to her foot and trying to stop her rubbing - she was too quick for him though and he pouted when she just darted out of reach before going back in. ‘Will you stop?’ he whined, and laughed as Gwen kept darting just out of his reach. ‘You’re impossible.’
‘You love me.’
Instead of grabbing her foot, he reached further and grabbed her calf, running his hands up and down the sleek muscle admiringly. ‘I love you even more when you wear stockings.’
Her smile widened and she reached across the table to take his hand. ‘Take your dick out and you can feel my stockings directly.’
She almost cackled at his adorable flush as he stuttered and let go of her leg as if he was burnt. ‘Boo,’ she teased. ‘Wanna get out of here?’
His eyes widening, he wiped his mouth with his napkin and nodded eagerly before freezing and looking down. Gwen couldn’t hold back her cackle this time when his eyes widened with despair.
‘Uh…give me five minutes?’
‘Nope,’ Gwen sing-songed, replacing her shoe and hopping up from her chair to take his hand. ‘Off we go darling.’
He yelped when she dragged him up, exposing that he was pitching a very obvious tent. They hurried out of the restaurant, her boyfriend’s face flaming red, his eyes glued to the ground.
‘There, that wasn’t so bad was it?’
‘That was the most humiliating experience in my whole entire life.’
Gwen laughed, grabbing his arm and pulling him close. ‘It’s okay baby,’ she teased him, talking in a baby voice. ‘Mama will kiss the little booboo better, don’t you worry.’
He huffed out a laugh and hugged her back, kissing the top of her head as she snuggled against him.
Not wanting their date night to end just yet, Gwen had a sudden bout of inspiration and pulled Pete into a nearby alley.
‘Um, babe,’ Pete began nervously, eyeing the sights and smells around them with disgust. ‘As much as I love you, I, er, I don’t think I love you enough to fuck you in a New York City alley…’
Gwen pulled him in deeper, chuckling. ‘Not even I’m that much of a degenerate, come here,’ she urged, stepping into a dark shadow and shifting her outfit into her Ghost Spider suit. ‘Get behind me and wrap your arms around my waist.’
He hesitated for only a moment before doing as she asked, his face pressed into the crook of her neck. With an application of will, dozens of fleshy tentacles burst out from her back, and Pete yelped in surprise. He would’ve stumbled away in shock had she not had a tight grip on his wrists.
‘Ugh…are you going to hentai rape me in an alley?’
‘No, you idiot,’ Gwen laughed. ‘You’d need to be unwilling for it to be rape, for starters. Now stop wriggling around and stay close.’
He stilled and allowed himself to be pulled against her by the fleshy protrusions. The tentacles all gripped him tight and pulled his larger frame solidly against hers. When she moved, she felt his added weight, but it didn’t impede her all that much given her strength - just a cute, slightly awkward backpack.
Looking over her shoulder, she blew him a kiss. ‘Try not to scream, okay?’
Before he could protest, Gwen crouched low and launched them both into the air with a mighty leap, clearing the nearby buildings in a single jump.
‘Wha - AAAAAH!’
He screamed.
Gwen laughed, using her webs to zipline towards the edge of the roof before launching off into the night with another powerful leap.
There was a lot of screaming to start, and while he still held on to her with all his might, he eventually calmed down enough to actually start enjoying the unique and breathtaking experience.
‘Fuck!’ he cursed and Gwen looked over her shoulder at him. She’d eased up on the intense ziplining and jumping and focused more on casual swinging - it wasn’t as fast, but it was likely infinitely more comfortable and manageable for Pete.
‘What is it?’
‘Oh, never mind,’ he yelled in her ear over the sounds of the night and blasting wind. ‘Phone fell out of my pocket but one of the drones caught it.’
Laughing, she looked over her shoulder at him. ‘Don’t you dare close your eyes!’
‘What?!’
Gwen started picking up speed, building their momentum as they neared her target. This time Pete was enjoying it, he whooped and cheered as she ran along buildings and used all her might to fling them forward.
When they reached their destination, Gwen smirked devilishly. Using all of their built up momentum, she didn’t release her web until the very last second, their feet pointed straight up, and flung them both high into the night sky.
‘Woah-woah-woah!’
Gwen laughed again, she couldn’t believe they’d never done this before. ‘Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling through an endless diamond sky!’
Before Pete could question the instantly recognisable lyrics, Gwen spread her arms wide and started rolling backwards into a series of slow backflips and corkscrews. She timed it perfectly so when they reached the flagpole on top of her target’s roof, she landed and clung to it like a stripper pole, twirling around it all the way down until they landed on the roof with perfect grace.
Throughout the entire manoeuvre Pete had been a mix of terror and exhilaration. A part of her had been worried he would throw up in her hair, but he heroically managed to hold out until she gently laid him down on the roof, his breaths coming in huge, heaving gasps as he worked to regain his composure.
‘How do you rate that landing, smartass?’

Pete, on his hands and knees as he tried to suck up great lungfuls of breath, looked up at his grinning girlfriend with a look of disbelief. ‘Really?’ he wheezed, trying and failing to hide his grin.
Gwen laughed, and Pete’s heart surged with warmth at how happy and giddy she looked - and all it took was for him to be latched onto her back like a particularly awkward backpack.
‘You’re lucky I didn’t throw up all over you at the end there,’ he wheezed as he got up on wobbly legs.
‘You loved it,’ she teased, throwing one of his arms over her shoulder to help keep him steady.
‘I nearly did throw up when you started quoting A Whole New World at me,’ he joked with a wheezing laugh. ‘You’re the cheesiest of cheese-balls.’
She looked him up and down appreciatively. ‘I dunno, I think you’d look pretty great in Jasmine’s harem girl getup.’
He barked out a laugh and she jerked when he spanked her incredible ass. ‘Don’t get any ideas, there’s only so much emasculating my fragile ego can take.’ He looked around the roof, his eyes still wide and his breath coming in excited gasps. ‘Okay, I admit, that was pretty incredible - give me some warning next time though, I might need to get some adult diapers.’
He must have said something right. Gwen’s eyes were glowing with passion and she was biting her lip sexily.
Jesus I hope it wasn’t the diapers…
Before he could fire off with a smart-ass remark, she whipped her hand out around the back of his neck and pulled him into a needy, passionate kiss, groaning into his mouth when he grabbed her ass and pulled her tight against him.
When she pulled away, he didn’t want to think about the goofy and stupid face he must have been making. ‘What’d I do to deserve that?’
She shrugged, biting her lip again and grinning. ‘Just for being you. I really loved swinging - web-swinging - with you.’ She giggled, flushing at the double entendre, ‘Feels like you loved it too.’
They both looked down to see he was still pitching some serious tent. He flushed and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. ‘I could feel everything, your back, your ass - it was pretty great.’ He looked around, not recognising where they were. ‘Okay, where to next?’
‘Nowhere,’ Gwen answered with only a sigh and tiny amount of disappointment - it looked like she very much wanted to keep going. ‘We’re here.’
‘Huh?’ He looked around at the bare rooftop in confusion. ‘What’s here?’
She beckoned him with a flick of her head and sashayed over to the nearby roof-access door. Pete watched her ass swaying from side to side as she walked before she got down on one knee, her hand hovering near the door handle. He watched, his eyebrows raised in surprise as a tiny, toothpick sized tentacle grew out of her fingertip and slithered into the keyhole.
‘I’ve created a monster,’ Pete deadpanned as he watched her pick the lock in less than a second, her little tentacle superior to traditional picks by a whole order of magnitude.
‘Don’t you like it when I’m naughty, Daddy?’ she teased with a pout as she pushed the door open, smiling at him sweetly before descending into darkness. Pete hurried after her, grumbling at her back as he found and took her hand. She giggled as they moved deeper, the air getting progressively colder the lower they went.
‘It’s freezing in here,’ he grouched as they finally made it to the ground floor and Gwen flipped on the lights. ‘Woah…’
The lights revealed an ice-skating rink, not for a hockey team but one for recreational skating. Gwen bounced ahead of him, turning to her boyfriend with a wide smile. ‘Come on!’
‘I… I don’t know how to skate Gwen,’ he muttered morosely, looking around with wide eyes as he slowly followed her.
‘I know,’ she said with an understanding smile. ‘That’s why we’re here, I’ll teach you.’
He followed after her, slowly spinning as he took everything in. There was a DJ booth, a counter where they rented skates, a cafe with tables for people to sit and eat at and seating where others could watch the action on the rink. He’d never been to a place like this, for obvious reasons. He imagined it would have been a pretty fun time.
‘Fuck it, let’s do it. If I’m covered in painful bumps and bruises after this, I expect the full nurse treatment, along with sexy outfit and endless doting on my every whim.’
She bounced up to him and got right in his personal space, her lips right next to his ear. ‘Why do you need to be hurt for us to do that?’
He shivered for a reason other than the cold, her husky voice doing things to him. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he drew her close and gave her a chaste kiss on the lips before grinning. ‘I’m starting to side with J.J - you’re a menace.’
Laughing, she pecked him on the lips again and bounced away towards the nearby desk to get him some skates.
After getting him sorted with a pair - his guilty conscience had him leaving a couple benjamins on the counter in compensation - he hobbled behind Gwen towards the rink, using the nearby tables and his girl’s shoulder to keep balance.
They took only a single step out onto the ice, and Gwen ran him through some simple exercises along the wall to make sure he knew how to move and keep balance.
Making sure he had a solid grip on the wall and he was okay, she ran past him and launched herself into the middle of the rink with a mighty, gravity defying leap and a whoop of joy, apparently having no issues gripping the slippery ice. Her turquoise, ballerina-style slippers shifted into identically coloured ice skates mid-air as she twirled half a dozen times before landing gracefully, seamlessly shifting her momentum into a backwards skate.
Gwen grinned at the look on his face as she quickly made her way back to him.
Jesus Christ, it’s like she was born with skates on her feet.
‘I… I didn’t know you could skate.’
Her wide smile dimmed and her eyes went distant. Seeing his look of surprise and contrition, she raised her hand and shook her head to calm him.
‘Sorry,’ she laughed bitterly as she skated back and forth before him. ‘Was just thinking about how I never told you about how much I loved skating because I didn’t want to rub it in your face and hurt your feelings - pretty ironic in retrospect.’
Feeling like Bambi taking her very first steps, he locked his knees and awkwardly glided towards her, his arms outstretched for balance and his face scrunched up in concentration. Gwen watched him like a hawk, ready to pounce and save him if he looked like he’d fall and hurt himself.
When he got within reach, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her nose.
‘None of that,’ he softly admonished, leaning down again and kissing her softly. Gwen wrapped her arms around his neck and tapped his skates with her own, repositioning them, so they could slowly spin as he held her.
A part of him felt it pretty cute and sappy that he didn’t think he could fall now that he had Gwen in his arms.
I should put that on a Hallmark card…
For the next hour, she patiently guided him around the rink and taught him how to skate. While he could probably have an amazing time shovelling shit as long as he was with Gwen, he was surprised to find how much he enjoyed skating, and while he’d never be as skilled or graceful as his girlfriend, he was at least confident that he could avoid hurting himself.
‘You must really love skating, huh?’ Pete observed as they skated in a large circle around the rink. ‘Your cheeks must be hurting by now, surely. You’ve been smiling non-stop for the last hour.’ He pulled out his phone and took a picture of her as she shyly tucked her long, asymmetric bang behind her ear. ‘Nice, new wallpaper.’
She blew him a raspberry, her cheeks alight with an adorable flush. ‘I used to come all the time with my dad, now I just come here when I want to relax and clear my head - like after you told me about Murdoch and the whole Fisk thing. It’s like web-swinging, but silent. More intimate. I do some of my best thinking here.’
He smiled and pulled her close, wrapping her up in a tight hug. He couldn’t believe how much he loved this woman. ‘Thanks for sharing this with me.’
When he pulled back, she was staring up into his eyes, her crystal blue orbs shining with an intensity that took his breath away.
‘I want to share everything with you.’
Now it was his turn to blush. Instead of saying something stupid and ruining the mood however, he just leaned down and captured her lips in a sensual kiss.
They eventually pulled apart after a few minutes and Gwen started to slowly skate away, only letting go of his hand at the very last moment. She was smiling sultrily at him, her eyes lidded and her hands behind her back, emphasising her perky tits and their very obviously pebbled nipples.
Her suit really did hide nothing - when she didn’t want it to.

‘This isn’t how I really skate when I’m alone though,’ she teased, her smile widening.

Grinning cheekily and finally confident he could handle himself, she cut loose, picking up speed and going into a skate routine only possible because of who she was. Her jumps reached heights no regular human could match, her spins and twirls insane with their intensity and her landings almost utterly silent. She moved with such speed he’d have been horrified of a potential, bone-crunching accident if he didn’t know for certain she’d just blow through any walls she collided with.
As amateurish as her routine made world-class olympians look by comparison, he only had eyes for her incredible body. Skating really activated all of her muscles and all he could do was stare, agog, as each of them tensed and flexed as she flew around the rink.
He felt like the wolf that perved on Jessica Rabbit, and if he were likewise animated, his tongue would have rolled out onto the ice as well.
Though Gwen’s entire schtick was synonymous with a spider, she reminded him in that moment more of a jungle cat - all sleek muscles, grace and power. Her skin glistened with perspiration that twinkled as it reflected the lights, her radiant smile carefree and joyous. She was honestly breathtaking.
He made sure to remind himself to download the feed from the drones later. While he hoped this wasn’t the last time Gwen brought him skating, and the last time she performed for him, he wanted to immortalise this moment on film…
For…research. Obviously.
When she was done, she ended with a typical gymnasts pose before slowly skating around him like an eager puppy. ‘You enjoy the show?’
He lifted his hand as if to give a so-so gesture, but seeing her eyes preemptively widen in outrage, he barked out a laugh, grabbed her wrist and pulled her close in a powerful hug, his hands growing straight for her naked ass. ‘You know I did, silly girl.’
Gwen purred as she rubbed herself against him, her arms around his neck and her smile coquettish. ‘You ready to get out of here?’
He chuckled deeply, his tone dark and filled with promise. ‘I don’t think you’ll be getting much sleep tonight you little slut.’
She laughed joyously, her beautiful eyes twinkling with mischief as she leaned up, her lips pressed to his ear. ‘Big words, little man.’
She giggled when he groaned and sank his teeth into the nape of her neck, the sound of his hand cracking against her toned ass like a gunshot in the silence.
I’m actually looking forward to having Gwen lug me back to her place. She’s definitely turning me into an adrenaline junky…

When they returned to Gwen's place, in a fit of giggles and unable to keep their hands off each other, they were met with an unexpected surprise.
In the kitchen stood a huge, intimidatingly buff, ridiculously hung, naked black guy drinking a glass of water, his body glistening with a sparkling, neon sheen from the lights streaming in through the window.
'Derek?' Gwen asked, her tone and face conveying utter disbelief. The Ghost Spider was not one to be startled by strange men in her own home, even if they were naked, and apparently her ex. 'What are you doing -' she cut herself off, her eyes widening in realisation before rolling in annoyance. 'Never mind, stupid question.'
He very much doubted this was the first time his girl had stumbled on a strange, naked man in her home. He even doubted it was the first time she'd stumbled on a familiar face.
She strolled in, removing her coat and throwing her keys in a nearby bowl while Pete watched the byplay with interest. He left his bag on the nearby couch and made himself comfortable against the nearby wall, curious about the imminent show.
Pete was kinda surprised with how little the man intimidated him. He’d have thought that being confronted with Gwen’s ex so blatantly would have been an emasculating experience, but he was genuinely surprised with how unthreatened he felt by him.

Gwen hadn't been kidding when she'd hinted at Derek's endowment and, apparently, his skill in the sack if MJ had requested his services.
Derek shrugged, utterly unconcerned with his nakedness - if anything, he seemed to be revelling in flexing in front of him, even reaching down to tug at his mammothian shaft as if to draw even more attention to it.
Hardly necessary, he'd probably smack me in the face if he turned too quickly…
'MJ's recovering,' he said by explanation, the satisfaction and smugness oozing from him palpable. 'Figured I'd grab a drink before going back in and taking care of business.' He then turned to Pete and grinned, his chest noticeably puffing. 'I'm sure you remember.'
'Ahuh,' she replied, managing to sound both bored and unimpressed. The trio lapsed into an awkward silence, one neither of them felt eager to break as Derek took another sip and eyed him up and down.
Sizing up the new guy and, apparently, finding him wanting.
'This the rich, white boy you left me for?'
'Guilty,' Pete answered like a smart-ass before Gwen could, holding up a hand as if it were a roll-call.
He felt he did a pretty fantastic job of hiding his wince when Gwen not so subtly elbowed him.
'He wasn’t rich when we got together,' Gwen said defensively, her features marred by an unpleasant frown. 'We’ve been best friends since we were kids.'
'Ahuh,' Derek replied, mirroring her unimpressed reply from earlier. He went to take another sip, but with the glass covering his mouth, he started singing the words of a very familiar song under his breath. 'She take my moooo-nay, when I'm in neee-heeed. Yay, she a triflin friend indee-heed…'
In an effort to fill the suddenly awkward silence more than anything, Pete couldn't help himself from picking up after him, his voice deep and also under his breath. 'Yeah she a gold digger, way over town, that digs…on……me?'
Gwen had turned to him in the middle of his singing, hand on her hip and eyebrow raised, clearly supremely unimpressed. He figured Derek chuckling and providing him some enjoyment at her expense didn't help his case much.
'What?' he defended himself lamely, his cheeks heating up. 'It's a good song.'
'You two need a moment?' she asked archly. 'Maybe you can give him a little hand? Fluff him up for MJ?'
Before he could answer, they were interrupted by Derek's deep chuckle again. They turned to see him tugging at his huge dick and ogling Gwen and her stocking clad legs hungrily.
Pete had been affable up until that point, but the smile instantly dropped from his face.
Those were his stockings!
…Thank Christ I didn't say that out loud…
'Naw I'm good baby girl, I dunno how y'all do it but I don't play that shit,' he said with a knowing chuckle and a dismissive wave in his direction. 'I'ma go back in there and take care of business, know what I'm sayin? MJ…' he paused, closing his eyes and shuddering in bliss, a big, dopey grin on his face, his hands groping the air as if it were MJ's tits. 'She's a handful.'
When Gwen answered the clear provocation with obvious amusement, Derek didn't look too pleased. 'She certainly is.'
Annoyed that his jab had little effect, he grabbed his shaft and pointed the large, bulbous head at her. 'Wanna give me a kiss before I go in there? For luck?' He turned his shit-eating grin on Pete and looked him up and down. 'For old-time's sake - you used to love screaming about how much you loved my huge dick.'
Pete was surprised by the open provocation. He'd expected and even felt a bit of animosity between the two was fair, but Derek had been pretty amicable towards him personally until that moment.
Gwen hadn't even blinked when he'd alluded to her supposedly inferior tits, but the second Derek had shifted his derision towards him, the smile on her face froze and her eyes glinted like two chips of ice.
Trying to avoid a situation, Pete grabbed Gwen around the waist and pulled her close, his calm in turn calming her. 'Enjoy, and you should probably get that looked at.'
Seeing his look of confusion, he grinned.
'I mean, you keep grabbing your junk. I figured you must be itchy. Does MJ know?'
Taken off-guard by the return jab, Derek reeled as if he'd thrown an actual punch. Gwen leaned back against him and he could just imagine the smug grin on her face.
'Psh, whatever,' he said with narrowed eyes and a frown before strutting past them and back into MJ's room.
Alone with his girl once again, Pete squeezed Gwen tight and leaned down to kiss the shell of her ear before whispering, 'You need to stop overreacting when people insult me,' he gently chided, the habit going back long before they'd gotten together.
‘You need to stop letting people walk all over you. To say he's not half the man you are would still be overly generous,' she groused, reaching back to wrap her hands around the nape of his neck.
