I think the $6000 price point is my favourite! This is when we get into some seriously cool watchmaking, from brands that are really aspirational and it’s like, a very considered purchase. I know I can’t spend this kind of money will nilly BUT if I save for a few years, I can afford something like this. If that makes sense?!

How about the anOrdain model 3. The model 3 dial is super cool & comes in I think under $4000. Even as I type that I cringe a bit at thinking "that is so cheap!" Man watches have really wacked out my perspective on $$ 🙃

James keeps on me with it! 🤣 he’s like “how is it possible you don’t have merch yet?!?” I had this fantasy, that when George was a newborn I’d have SOOOO MUCH FREE TIME because he sleeps all the time 🤣 and then I’d design merch for when I was back! But as it turns out…… I needed to sleep too haha! Oh gosh, this is the fire under my butt I need to actually get going on this!

Fab video! +1 on all of your choices apart from the Breitling and Panerai. You forgot the Rolex Explorer by the way. Slightly over budget but so were lots of others. While I’m here, where’s the merch? We need some soon. You could go for a Taylor Swift/ Moonswatch approach and have different variations (Gringa, WatchPapi and Baby George) for the completists, Pope tier exclusives and a “never gonna happen” OP Celebration version of mugs/t-shirts/hats. Come on, it’s nearly Chrimbo and my wife needs something to buy me!!
