Just look what the cat dragged in? Sorry - couldn’t help it… :) I loved JLC, and the reverso is one of my must-own watches (still haven’t got one - but one day….) and I agree about the lack of acknowledgment of the brand. But I’m not sure a changed advertisement campaign would or should do the trick. JLC is unique because of the history and the skills they have - and a “hip” advertisement campaign with rappers and influencers etc. would go against the soul of JLC (IMO). And then there’s the question of what JLC’s own goals are? To sell more watches or continue to develop the watch industry? And about the movement - you’re so right. Movement is not what attracts most people (at first). But when you’re beginning to own a few more watches I think some (not most) people begin to be interested in the movement - or is it just me being naive? But a good example is myself… I just bought a Mr. Jones watch - and not because of the movement but because it’s a beautiful watch - and very different. But before I clicked on the Buy button I did check the movement - because I was interested. And yes its a Chinese movement - a Seagull - but that’s ok. They are quite interesting also even though they are cheap.. And last - you ROCK!!! Among all the watch YouTubers I follow you stand out as the one who actually seems to care about the people who follow and interacts. Event though you’re about to be one of the biggest stars among watch YouTubers . Thank you for that..!
