WHY TAG... WHYYYYY?!
🕑 Added 2022-10-20 10:22:03 +0000 UTCOk! This was a very off the cuff video! I had finished filming my Patek video on the new releases... But really... The F1 Mario Kart was still stuck in my head and I JUST NEEDED TO TALK ABOUT IT! Especially after just doing a TAG Heuer Video a few weeks ago.....
I just have this stupid optimism in TAG. I really believe they have all the winning ingredients, but they just refuse to follow the dang recipe! I have conflicting thoughts on these. I think the concept is there - Mario & Mario Kart have sooo much to work with! I just feel a bit.... like..... this could have been done better lol. But it seems to be indicative of where TAG is going. I just want TH to live up to its full potential!!! :'(
Anyways! Here's all of my thoughts and feelings on the new F1 X Mario Kart chronographs. I'd love to hear what you guys think of these new LEs.

I'm going to show these two watches to my 19 year old son - he's a Mario Cart fan. Maybe he's the target audience for them - they are definitely not my cup of tea!

Well - my first thought was - funny watch. Then the next thought was - not for me. But then again TAG is not my favorite watch brand. Not even the Monaco. But I like that they are trying - but to me it looks like something out of a Kinder Surprise :) and something Timex or Casio could have done - and much better

Gringa!! I do not get it at all. These watches reinforce my belief that some watch makers and designers are on the crack pipe. And the people who will rush out and pay crazy prices are feigning for the next big hit on the pipe too. On the other hand, I am glad watches like this exist, because we live in world were there is such a variety of watches, that no matter what you are into, someone will eventually make a watch for you. Long Live the Cult(s)!!
