His goal was to try and confirm the true shape of the earth (and take down the Flat Earth movement) by capturing video of the 24-hour sun. I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical of this approach - but I was curious to hear how things have gone since, so I called up Will and had an interesting conversation about the Flat Earth community's reaction, the correct approach to conspiracy theorists, and how the trip changed his own beliefs. - Adam
