Personally I see Clint leveraging the bruises from Tim popping him as a way to (1) open the door to score with Nicole and or Bridgey Boo setting Trick and Nicole's work hubbies all atwitter and giving Terry a huge headache. So, since we're apparently cat-themed in this one, Clint is catnip without the black eye. Now, you've got two main reactions from people who see someone attractive the way Clint is with a visible injury. Reaction one is becoming less common, where the looker will get their flip-switched thinking of Clint getting into a fight and a "you should see the other guy" comment implying violent machismo. That's outdated and probably would only work well with Cybill and Madge's demographic. The second option will be the most effective, and it'll be the people who see Clint, a good-looking and nice person with an injury, and they'll want to try and help in the only way they can: tipping more than they usually would. Society is transitioning to individuals trying to be more kind to one another. We still have a long way to go to get to a place where large groups can be civil with one another. The longest long of fucking ways, but with individuals, I see it happen every single day.
