DESIGNS AHOY: Sketches for the antagonist WARRIOR and WIZARD from the mysterious "UNIDENTIFIED FANTASY OFFERING" project!
🕑 Added 2024-09-23 13:00:15 +0000 UTCTime for another update from the upcoming fantasy comic project codenamed Unidentified Fantasy Offering (aka its actual title, Godplayers)!
One of the project's sprawling cast of characters—we're talking at least six g-d protagonists and six main antagonists along with a rotating series of secondary foes!—is a Half-Orc Warrior, who progresses from noobie adventurer to insanely overpowered nigh-demi-god as our story opens.
Here's Godplayers series artist Matthew Weldon's first take on him:

Anyhoo, progress on Godplayers is proceeding apace, as I wrapped up script and roughs for the series' second 48-page issue last month and will start work on issue #3 in October, while Matthew's wrapping up initial roughs for issue #1; I'll be showing you fine folks that stuff eventually, okay?

Massive LOL to the Gene Simmons-y tongue. Looks less like a mage (which in my mind is associated with more disciplined/wise magic) & more like a feral Wild-Magic-Surge monk. His character seems very interesting (having a lich queen eye always raises the "how" & "why" questions), & I'm dying to know why his spellcasting is so tongue-er-iffic.
