DESIGNS AHOY: More early sketches from THE CHASTE AND THE CHAINED!
🕑 Added 2023-02-03 14:00:02 +0000 UTCWelllp, here are more design sketches I worked up for the upcoming, Patreon-serialized digital-art test comic The Chaste and the Chained, as first announced not too long ago.
First off is a quick (CSP iOS) stab at the Elf Mage's opening outfit:
The "spellcloth" bit means that her clothing is inherently magical and can be reshaped into any form she desires, not unlike the Dirty Pair's long-ago "smartcloth" uniforms from the final published DP miniseries, Run from The Future.
Her belt, though, will be migrating from costume variation to costume variation:
Meanwhile, the Paladin's weapons were worked up a bit:
Next, a few analog sketches of the undies the Elf will be stripped down to, after being kidnapped by some seriously wacky cultists in the first story I'm planning:
Not to wax too SPOILER-iffic, but the Elf will wind up stripped to her "scanties" quite often as her magical aura of being Avatar of the Chained Goddess compels all and sundry to come after her.
I have plenty more design sketches where these came from, but that should do it for today. Onward!

Actually, just remembered that that WAS an actual thing among some religions with chastity type rules. Look up the Onieda Community and "male continence".

Edging motifs, eh? I guess she's trying really hard to find a loophole around his chastity vow, then. Also, I think you meant to refer to the Lovely Angels' smartcloth uniforms.

Looking good! It occurs to me that the spellcloth might be "hackable" by magically-inclined kidnappers, who could make it flow off of her or into just a choker, leaving her in her non-magical undies. A further complication could be that her curse interacts with the cloth's magic and picks up on others' desires, or imprints on them, leaving her in bondage-themed outfits from time to time (or all the time).

Amusing to think that chaining her up and stripping her probably just _adds_ power to her thanks to the Goddess.
