DISTRESSED DAMSELS: SF heroine Lily as imperiled (star)flight attendant, pt. 2!
🕑 Added 2022-12-09 14:00:12 +0000 UTCIn the midst of the seemingly endless, Sisyphean nightmare of drawing a shockingly time-consuming Harley Quinn story last month (a task dragging on well into December), I managed to piece together some sketch sets of long-suffering Lily (from ongoing DP damsel spinoff dealie Rose & Lily) based loosely on this striking image I was sent a while back as part of an art request:
...and cue the distressing scenario, conveyed mainly through scribbled dialogue as I surely ain't drawing passenger starship interiors.
Wellp, a while back I posted some early, narratively random sketch sets based on this concept. Now, here are a few more, jumping around hither and thither from one scene (or "scene," given the lack of backgrounds) to another.
First off, a title page of sorts!
Alas, this set-up is already obsolete, as I figured out a way to work partner Rose into the scenario, though I dunno if I'll ever get to that scene.
Next up, yet another ambush sees Lily yet again falling prey to those "rogue operatives," or "rogue starflight attendants," whatever:
Did start to sketch a follow-up page to this story fragment, but then Harley Quinn inking overwhelmed me again.

...which, in fact, is derived from the rough for an old, unfinished Empowered sketch set:
This set is probably at least 6 to 8 years old, judging by Emp's older-style, larger-headed, less-thicc figure proportions. I can no longer recall for certain who Emp's female captor might be, but that clunky glove in the last image suggests to me that this might've been a rough for a never-developed Emp vs. Red Monika (from Joe Mad's Battle Chasers) sketch set. Golly!
Anyhoo, that's all for now. Might I return to this set-up sometime? Mayhap so! In the meantime, back to hacking my way through the massive backlog of tasks that built up whilst I was slowly, ever so slowly finishing that g-d Harley Quinn story.

I gotta confess, the hints of plot actually excite me more than the cheesecake. Wonder what's up with these alternate girls, and what's real. Could just be wank off sims, could be something sinister: my bet is creating some sort of programmed second personality to override OG Kei and Yuri. Been suspicious of florally-named alternate bondage personas since my buddy's ex-wife manifested "Violet", and the whole ensuing series of mishaps, what with the wizard and all, seriously fuxored some top secret military crap my friend was working on. (Believe it or not, I didn't make any of that up.)

Your damsel-in-distress art rocks. My favorite, by far, is your earlier "thinner girl version" Rose & Lilly material. Others may have differing opinions on this, but that's your best work IMO.
