DISTRESSED DAMSELS: SF heroine Lily as imperiled (star)flight attendant!
🕑 Added 2022-11-25 14:27:31 +0000 UTCIn the midst of the seemingly endless, Sisyphean nightmare of drawing a shockingly time-consuming Harley Quinn story this month, managed to piece together some sketch sets of long-suffering Lily (from ongoing DP damsel spinoff dealie Rose & Lily) based loosely on this striking image I was sent a while back as part of an art request:
...and cue the distressing scenario, conveyed mainly through scribbled dialogue as I surely ain't drawing passenger starship interiors:

Anyhoo, outta sheer goofiness I spun off a tangential page based on that last line from Lily's flight attendant captor:
Aaaand back to reality briefly, before another tangential aside finishes off the next page:
Gotta admit that I like the goofiness inherent to the idea that the other images on these page somehow aren't artistic depictions, whether AI-scraped or not.

Now I'm imagining the bands (not a bondage pun) of Lilies. * Successfully escape: used for Freeware distributed to agents. * Submissive resignation: flagged for espionage division for captor subterfuge. * Restrained and resistant: ideal struggling damsel for super-heroine sims. Insidious, but intriguing!

Or they could be successful branches of a breed-a-submissive-alt-persona plot assembled for Sinister Reasons.

Starting to think the glimpses into Lily's distresses are the failed branches of Freeware training sims. Somewhere in the simulations there's a Lily who avoided capture, or at least managed to escape once the attendants began their safety demo.

You know, I would like to point out that Yuri, and thus possibly Lily, is in fact canonically trained as a comic artist (one of the textbooks in the comically large stack she's holding in the flashback/Keis imagination in Plague of Angels is a Kubert) Given her enhanced senses and precision motor skills, she could probably knock out the whole short in a leisurely day, two tops, if she were so inclined.
