DAMSEL IN DISTRESS partial (if not full) purge imminent
🕑 Added 2022-03-02 19:25:47 +0000 UTCUPDATE: Wellp, the Patreon is off Double-Secret Probation and no longer threatened with suspension after I deleted the specific posts flagged by Patreon Trust & Safety, along with a dozen or two others that I likewise removed out of the ol' "abundance of caution" before hearing back from 'em. (Something like 120 DiD hashtagged posts remain, so worry not, as I definitely did not nuke everything.)
The latter deletions look like a overreaction on my part, as apparently—apparently—I can still post "damsel in distress" material; the explanation I received on the matter was rather unclear at best, though perhaps down the road I can parse out an unambiguous definition of exactly what kinds of DiD content they find acceptable.
So, uh... stand by next week for our next Distressed Damsels update, folks! (Later on, I might repost some of the material I took down if I can work out a better idea of what will or won't attract the Eye of Sauron's baleful gaze.)
Last g-d thing I needed while wrapping up work on Empowered vol.12, but just got a notice from Patreon Trust and Safety that my account is in violation of their Community Standards over "content glorifying sexual violence," with the three examples given featuring "damsel in distress" imagery.
In fairness, the three posts in question were rather "sketchier" and more potentially problematic than is the norm for this Patreon, but I have my doubts that just deleting those posts will satisfy Trust & Safety, due to this rather ominous sentence from the message:
"Please remove this type of content from your page and let me know when you have done so."
So, worst case, I may end up having to nuke all the DiD content from this page if Patreon considers all bondage imagery to inherently be "content glorifying sexual violence," which might well be the case.
Sorry for the inconvenience, DiD fans, but at least a partial purge of the material will get underway later today, as I see if deleting the example posts and others along those lines will suit Patreon, or if only a total ban on the imagery—143 posts worth, ouch—will avoid suspension of the account.

Oh wow I just checked in this week. That must of been quite bad news, but it looks like you weren't hit too hard. If push comes to push I do hope you find another hub that's more welcoming to your content. Either way, I'll still be subscribed - beautiful women in bondage or not.

I'd play it a bit differently. Have a volume where the first few stories didn't include Emp. By the fourth story Meta-Emp is complaining that it is her book. Story five starts with a blank page, as Meta-Emp is missing. The last story is titled "The Manny World's Theory" and we see that a Manny doppelgänger from a higher dimension has kidnapped both Emp and Meta-Emp to his harem... TBC!

I'm not actually sure that OnlyFans couldn't make a stink about "shows or refers to lack of consent or sadomasochistic abuse or hardcore bondage" if they got a bug up their ass. On the breaching the multiversal walls point, consider the following series of events that have happened with volume 12: 1. Adam starts an Emp story involving multiversal travel. 2. The creative process is paused for a while due to Adam suffering physical trauma 3. The story now has significantly less Bedamseled Emp, more sex scenes, and more Thugboy-in-costume scenes than Adam's original conception. Just pointing out a pattern, folks.

Fun Fact: Patreon's rules don't restrict graphic violence at all. As long as there's no sex involved, and there isn't advocacy of violence against real people or advocacy of illegal weapons in real life, anything goes there.

Perchance was the Trust and Safety notice signed by "Elissa P."? Hmm, a cursory look shows that there are plenty of Patreons kicking around with DiD and bondage content involving live models, which I presume would be under more scrutiny than mere drawings, so unless Patreon is really inconsistent (which admittedly is probably true), I don't think that's banned outright.

G-d prudes, the lot of them... I am going to assume that, like with all such things, they've taken all of the 'examples' completely out of context. It's a shame that censorship of such a medium as this has hypocrisy everywhere as I'm sure that none of the posts that glorify violence with guns or other weapons has garnered such interest...thank you for the heads up at least
