VNTAGE CON SKETCHES: More 2000-ish DIRTY PAIR commissions!

Back then, I was doing so many of these DP con sketches at a time that I constantly experimented with often wacky character and costume design variations to stave off boredom, as seen with the first, notably goofy piece:
The next piece featured then-current baseline designs for the Angels, but was livened up by the presence of the rarely seen Mughi:
Well, to clarify, I couldn't draw big cats off the top of my head without reference; and back then, obvsly, I couldn't just grab my phone and image-search relevant feline photos on the fly. Then again, let's be honest; the wholly cartoony and (ahem) "unrealistic" Big Fluffy Mughi from the anime version will always be Best Mughi, IMHO.
I might have already posted this costume and chara design variation years ago, as it was lurking in an oft-raided Dirty Pair folder:

Man, those are some long, long legs on Y**i; and dig those hyperstylized faces on the girls, sporting the whimsical noses and exaggerated cheek outlines that I would soon have to jettison during the early 2000s in favor of the "minimal nostril indication" approach. Had to be done, folks!
NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Not sure at the moment, but something will be going up on Monday morning, I can assure you.

Those are some serious bee-sting/DSLs on the Angels in the first and last finished pics. They look good, though. I can entirely see Kei adding those labels to their outfits for a joke, too, particularly with the joke at Yuri's expense on hers. Also glad to see the return of the much-acclaimed Hypno Butt. And boy, is that 'bridal carry' shot going to be feeing someone's shipping chart... One of these days I hope I'll be at a con with dosh to get a sketch like these. Someday...

Sweet bonus Thursday post! I see Yuri has just noticed the holotags that Kei stuck on her. You know, I've always wanted to know more about the Legion of Kei's Evil Exes; see how they compare to the parade of schmucks my dear (red-haired and volatile) sister used to bring around (the snowboard bum, the sociopath, the drunks, the dancer, etc), or my one buddy's ex who tried to disguise her alternate personality as a second person to extort money from him for her side piece's wizard cult, or the couple of times my other buddy has had to cheat death because his squeeze of the week dragged him into something.
