VINTAGE CON SKETCHES: More 2000-era DIRTY PAIR illos!
🕑 Added 2021-10-20 13:00:08 +0000 UTCGot no frickin' time this morning to set up today's Patreon post, so here's a quick trio of Dirty Pair-related con sketches from the summer con seasons of 2000 and 2001, hastily scanned from some rather so-so photocopies. (Tacked on the "harem girls" illo as a kinda-sorta tie-in to the recent Empowered vol. 12 Sinbad dealie.)
Or could these be "Rose & Lily," the alternate versions of Kei & Y**i so often in the $5-and-higher-tier Distressed Damsels posts? Ehh, probably not, as A) they're not getting trussed up and B) one of the (more highly stylized) pieces is prominently labeled "Y**i". (For the uninitiated, I dare not use the character's full name, lest Patreon autoflag the post.)
NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Friday's post might very well feature "Rose and Lily," as it'll likely be another Distressed Damsels commissioned comic or con sketch(es) for the $5 and higher Patron tiers.

The latter two are definitely in the 'bee-sting-lips' era! And boy, I wish I'd been at some of these cons! Sadly, 2000-1 I was only able to hit AnimeExpo and AnimeBoston, and only because I was Security Staff.

First sketch is really cool, love the dino and the action. Also, I thought the reason you dared not use Her True Name is to prevent a Hastur situation, since we all like the sun and want it to remain intact?
