Opening pages of EMPOWERED vol.12's "Scary, Badass Emp" scene!

UPDATE IN THE MORNING: Barely!
In fact, these aren't the gory, mayhem-intensive pages from later on in the Empowered vol.12 "Scary, Badass, Violent Emp" sequence that I'd planned on showing, because I still haven't scanned those originals yet.
Instead, you're seeing the first three pages of said sequence, including an intro shot of Scary Emp that I posted here previously. A few words:
The last panel's shot of an anomalously ripped Emp midriff amuses me to no end, as Low Body Fat % Emp is meant to be an ominous sign. Ominous, I tell you!
Note that the Yasushi Nirasawa-ish hapless bad guys...
...were originally a bunch of hapless bad guys victimized by "smart guns" (as seen in the one-shot Empowered: Pew Pew Pew!):
I just didn't feel like drawing guns and/or "tacticool" body armor and uniforms, so I switched over to the biopunk riff in an initially futile attempt to interest myself as an artist. Alas, that revised, Nirasawa-ish page sat around for a week or more until I finally worked up enough energy to tackle the g-d thing.
ONE MORE UPDATE: Fresh off the drawing board, here's my rough for the next page in the sequence:
Note that I have to figure out how to draw an Ominous Emp Butt that should. in theory at least, look different than regular Emp's higher-fat % behind. Challenging!

I wouldn't have thought of it that way, but yeah, Lean Emp is a sign of serious psychological shift on her part, and possibly not in a good direction. Certainly not good for her opponents, anyway!
