Anyhoo, the title explains things pretty well, though you might note that I switched out Mindf**k's spacesuit (at upper right) for an image of Anglerfish on the final version.
TOMORROW ON THIS HERE PATREON: Probably our regularly scheduled dose of Vintage Con Sketches, though I might call an audible and switch that out for a set of design sketches of "Scary, Violent Badass Emp" (per an earlier $20-tier post) or possibly the "Emp vs. deathtrap" page I'm working on today.

Yep, I have them all. To think, I started reading this way back when. And I am totally in agreement with you. Hence my talk about the messaging. But it is always good to have put words to what that message really is, as I am usually to lazy to do so.

It's all about her becoming comfortable with having a real woman's body instead of the version where she starved herself to fulfill an unrealistic body image. As she has grown more confident, she's grown more comfortable with her body, and a lot more powerful overall, possibly as a result of both. That said I still long for a wasp waist, so... yeah, I miss this one a little bit too sometimes. But she exists in lots of volumes already!

It really reflects more badly on me than anything, but I miss this Emp. The new design convey the message a lot better though, as calling this version 'plump' is just wrong.
