DISTRESSED DAMSELS: EMPOWERED con sketch & HUSHED HALF-ELF mandala(?)

A commission in my two-color—nay, three-color!—con sketch format featuring Empowered distressed by "Leather-Loving Laetitia," a goofy, leather-obsessed villainess who appeared many Wednesdays ago in a scene from a Y**i DiD story (which I don't feel like combing back through my sprawling archive to find and link to).
Note that Laetitia's outfit more or less predicts Sistah Spooky's costume from Empowered; note also that cows are surprisingly odd-looking animals to draw. I had no idea!
And here's the initial rough for the illo, pieced together from two different sketches and with figure (and head) sizes tweaked in Photoshop until the proportions worked for me:
Note that you can see the "seams" where I scaled up rough elements and moved 'em around a bit.
Next up, a piece based on an open-ended $20-tier October art request for something Hushed Half-Elf-related:
Thought I'd try an art test with Clip Studio Paint's symmetry ruler, and working the Half-Elf into a goddess-y, pseudo-mandala layout seemed an obvious subject. The ruler has some odd limitations, though—you can't copy/paste an already-drawn image into it, as far as I can tell, as it only seems to replicate whatever you're directly drawing. Neither can you move or tweak selections in the initial drawing, as such changes won't propagate out to the radial copies.
Still, an interesting and educational experiment, folks! Also, stay tuned for another, non-DiD Hushed Half-Elf sketch later in the month, based on a recent Patron suggestion. Wheeeee!

You know, in Laetitia's home DPverse(well, the bondage sim adjunct to the DPverse, but close enough), I suspect that leather's probably mostly made from engineered cell lines that never were part of an actual cow in the first place, and I'm fairly sure there also aren't ghosts floating around, so she likely didn't fully understand the risks she was taking pulling her schtick in the Empverse. Could be worse; could have been rattlesnake or crocodile leather.

These are both really neat pieces -- that's an awesome use of colors in the Emp piece, and perfectly-suited to the season! These are always so much more fun when there's a sense of humor that's just as strong as the characters themselves!
