DISTRESSED DAMSELS: $20 DiD art requests & more!
🕑 Added 2020-07-08 13:00:04 +0000 UTCAs we take a few weeks off from serializing longer-form commissioned stories—or, ahem, "stories"—here's a few random odds& ends.
First off is a hot-off-the-iPad Clip Studio Paint sketch set based on DiD art requests from Patrons of the $20 tier:
Even though I'm far—nay, faaaaar—from satisfied with how the CSP "design pencil" brush renders "pseudo-pencils," I'm still seriously considering drawing at least a few chapters in the upcoming Empowered vol. 12 digitally—and that's mainly because having access to layers and white-line artwork (as seen in the Domme Emp/ Black Canary pic) makes life so much easier for me.
Note, $20-tier Patrons, that I addressed the rest of your (non-DiD) suggestions in a few other recent sketch sets, but in all likelihood won't post them until I have a free slot next week.
Next up is a pair of pages from yet another incomplete commissioned DiD "story," with the requested content being "Yuri vs. Cammy from Street Fighter, in a cheesecake-intensive struggle":
And oops, the dialog box warning "Patreon doesn't allow the featuring of seemingly underage characters in the context of adult content" just popped up as I type this post! The mystery of this warning was just solved for me by a helpful Patron with his own Patreon account, who correctly informed me that this flag appears automatically when certain keywords are typed in a post's commentary—and one such keyword is "yuri," as in "girl on girl" content, not the Lovely Angel. Lordy loo!
The "restrained against hotel luggage cart" riff was borrowed from a latter-day Jackie Chan flick, if I recall correctly.
Anyhoo, in suspiciously bondage-prone, out-of-continuity Commissioned-Story Yuri's defense, I'm pretty sure I did at least one more page in which she belatedly kicks back at Cammy; alas, I seem to have no scans of that sucker.
Finally, let's wrap this grab-bag post up with the rough for another con sketch featuring Kei and Yuri—once again in the "hot pants & garter belts" variant costumes—laid low by the ever-annoying Pint-Size(d) Ninja Platoon:
Ehh, not sure if I ever did a finished, linen-finish version of this sketch; that piece looks oddly tight for a rough sketch, yet too loose to be a finished commission, Alas, this scan of the rough is all I could dig up.
