Final $5-tier art requests, including PARTY OF TWO's half-orc heroine!
🕑 Added 2020-06-30 13:17:36 +0000 UTCAs I reluctantly close down the art-request Patreon feature for the $5 tier due to lack of available worktime, here are a final trio of Clip Studio Paint sketch sets based on suggestions from said tier.
A few words on each:
TBH, kinda sleazed out on the "high-level cleric" sketch of the half-orc from Party of Two, as I have very little to no interest in drawing the highly detailed costumes appropriate for a fantasy RPG.
Tacked on the rather wonky "kissing Emp" drawing after a complaint about an earlier Emp/ half-orc sketch for the $20 tier lacking such an image. In the future, though, Patrons of all tiers need to keep in mind that I cannot guarantee that I will exactly fulfill your suggestion for a sketch; in fact, I can't guarantee that I will tackle any given request, period. I will try my best to hit up as many art reqs as possible going forward, but that's wholly dependent on having the worktime available and on whether or not I can muster any artistic enthusiasm for the subject.
Pretty straightforward and self-explanatory, I think.
The photoref I used for the Mindf**k image featured a very strange image of the model's hand holding the coffee cup. What can I say, folks? Sometimes photoreference will feature poses or gestures that simply can't be interpreted pleasingly into a drawing.
Finally, I belatedly realized that I might not have posted my take from late May on the "Sailor Moon meme" here on Patreon, so here it is:
Yeah, once again that's cosplay with Party of Two's half-orc heroine. I'm not thrilled with how the "inks" (actually, a pencil brush) were rendered in Clip Studio Paint, but the colors worked out surprisingly well.
Anyhoo, thanks for your generous support, $5-tier folks; I might reopen suggestions for sketch sets down the road, but with the restart of work on Empowered vol.12 looming, I just don't have the free time for 'em right now.
