DISTRESSED DAMSELS: "Cocktail Dress Distress" pt.3, plus $20-tier DiD request

Per your votes in a recent Patreon poll, here's the second-highest-rated option from said tally, which is yet another incomplete commissioned DiD story in proto-Empowered pencil format, dating from 2004 or so. This time around, a shockingly easy-to-subdue Kei gets gassed, gagged and trussed up by an unnamed Bad Girl whilst (presumably) snooping around at a hoity-toity party, hence the quickly tattered cocktail dress. But Kei turned the tables on said Bad Girl in the previous few pages, luckily!
A few words:
Not sure if Kei's skin-tight microskirt—derived from photoreference, believe it or not— predates Sexy Librarian Emp's outfit from Empowered.
Only occurs to me now that trying to run away from that room without being detected while wearing stiletto heels would require some serious stealth skills on our heroine's part. Try that one, why don't you, Solid Snake?
This fella's design is unusually distinctive, as you'll see in the next (and final) bunch of pages. No idea why I would've invested the time to work up such a design for an otherwise throwaway, never-to-be-published story fragment.

Note that the second pic, theoretically based on Moraine from the Wheel of Time series, is a follow-up from an earlier DiD comic page featuring the character besieged by magical analogues for the good ol' tape drone.
TOMORROW: The Twitter-format prose experiment I Am Empowered continues, this time with a chapter chock full of events and lingo I really, really wish I could've featured in the comics series proper.

Lady Morraine at least looks like she's enjoying herself. And I love that Kei's first thought after she knocks out her captor is 'Yuri is going to snark at me _so much_ for this'.

There's rather a lot of that concept in upcoming DP-based DiD stories I'll be posting here, and it works surprisingly well; gotta say, it's a lot less boring to draw than trying to work out a bajillion different poses for a stationary damsel.

Ehh, I don't necessarily mind doing more "deathtrappy" imagery, as I've rarely dealt with that topic in commissions or published work. For some reason, the specific "threat of hanging" scenario bugs me a bit, even though I actually drew such a scene in DIRTY PAIR long ago.

Thanks for the piece! I’ve always been a fan of the old pulp and western style comic art. They often had an edgier feel to ‘em, so I do apologize for any inconvenience or issues it caused for you. I’ll keep that in mind for future reference. Have a good one!
