Emergency grab-bag post!

First off is a Clip Studio Paint life-drawing set, with the pic at upper left based on an art request from the $20 tier: namely, Empowered's Ninjette cosplaying as Rock Howard from King of Fighters! (Both characters have extremely dire relationships with their stern, abusive fathers, I gather.)
Next up is a "young Dirty Pair" con sketch from 2000, which I already posted here a while back.
Howeva, I might've noted that I thought Kei's top was derived from a 90s-era photo of an R&B or pop singer's outfit. Wellp, I found the source for said top, as seen in the 1999 magazine photo below:
Yes, folks, that is indeed the late, great Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes from TLC sporting the basis for Kei's top! And below is the full page from a 1999 issue of Newsweek, so you can bask in the 1999-ness of it all:
And finally, didja know I once planned a Predator/ Dirty Pair crossover? (Didn't get very far, as you might have guessed.) Wellp, below is the only piece of artwork remaining from that pitch, featuring a (very) rough sketch of an oddly geared-up Predator:

Jette looks amazing in that jacket! Superb work as always. Sadly, Rock Howard has the benefit of Geese being dead for the majority of the series, plus was fostered by his dad's archenemy Terry Bogard. Sorry, Kozue...

Yet another Dirty Pair crossover I would have bought the hell out of had it happened! Predator/Dirty Pair sounds like an amazing combo, the silent, serious, stoic Predator versus the over-the-top destructive insanity of Kei and Yuri.
