1996 LEATHER JACKET photo shoot, pt.3
🕑 Added 2019-06-19 18:36:05 +0000 UTCAnyhoo, here's another pic from the 1996 leather-jacket photo shoot that proved so important to my rendering skills. I photoreffed this image several different times for con sketches and comic pages, but the only iteration I can dig up is a 1997 illustration for the Brian Michael Bendis crime comic Jinx, as seen below:

I'll also attach both photo and illo, in case you wanna take a closer look at either-- and perhaps draw the leather yourself? Feel free, as this is one hell of a jacket, folks.

Your rendering of that jacket is just jaw dropping. I love how you're able to get all the subtle tones and shapes in the leather. <3

I was gifted a jacket somewhat similar to this, though it needs some work on the liner (has a big ole hole in it); these posts make me want to repair and wear it. You really do amazing rendering on leather~

I love THAT leather jacket, with it's nipped waist and too-long sleeves. It looks fantastic.
