EMPOWERED & SISTAH SPOOKY #1 thumbnails, pt. 2
🕑 Added 2019-05-03 13:00:04 +0000 UTCBehold, my thumbnails for the rest of issue #1 of 2018's Empowered and Sistah Spooky's High School Hell, a six-part miniseries written by me, drawn by Carla Speed McNeil, and colored by Jenn Manley Lee. More info on the project here.
With this final set of thumbnails, I switched over to a two-color format, using the same red and blue pencils I use for most of my con sketches. Here, the blue was meant to convey a dimly lit classroom (and red for the goopy guts and school-uniform skirts), but I wound up using the colors for all the other scenes that followed in future issues because I found the format aesthetically pleasing.
