KPJ is a big part of the reason why Sheppard played in this game. He got ahead of himself in the second half of Game 2 a few times, but he's getting downhill repeatedly against TJM and Mathurin. The GTJ and AJ minutes should come at the expense of Kuzma and Prince -- hence why Prince played less than five minutes in this game.

The double against Giannis are fine and necessary in the post, from the top, and depending upon how much time is on the shot-clock. Can about guarantee that most of the doubles from the start of the third quarter weren't called for by the game-plan.

The doubles point is excellent. I, for one, didn’t hate the doubles. I just felt like they came way too early to be necessary - which you accurately noted against Giannis in the AJ inverted P&R. No business doubling Lopez ever, if he even plays much the rest of the way. The sticky half court offense has been something of new this season, and it definitely coincides with a lack of any substantial pace for tilting the floor early in the shot clock. I, for one, in future reasons (and this is a moot point right now) am interested in Jarace’s potential with his passing ability and court vision to fill the gap of ball handler next to Ty in future years to offload that responsibility. Right now he looks too tentative and is reverting to old habits (yikes floaters back) - but more so out of being uncomfortable with the speed of processing required for playoff level games.

It seemed inevitable that Trent and AJ Green were going to have a big game at some point, so hopefully we got that out of the way. I completely agree with the "galaxy brain" bit about Lopez, too! Besides Lopez, I feel that it's good for the Pacers in the long run if KPJ hits a shot occasionally, because then Doc will want to keep giving him minutes, and every minute that KPJ is out there for the Bucks is good for the Pacers (especially if Doc is keeping Gary Trent or AJ Green on the bench instead of KPJ).
