In the wake of the loss that shall remain nameless, the Pacers are soon to be back in action against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday with a chance to solidify their spot atop the standings in Group A of the NBA's In-Season Tournament. As such, for the sake of providing a palate cleanser from the listless performance that was Sunday while also looking ahead to yet another game with higher stakes, the time has once again come to reconvene in my highly sophisticated film room.
From the war for the nail to the adjustments Quinn Snyder has made in positioning non-shooters, join me in taking a deep dive into some potential key battleground areas. Let's get into it!
Timestamps:
0:00 - Reunited after many days off and a game that allegedly happened
1:14 - Atlanta's defense at a glance
2:35 - Mastering the art of rejection
4:50 - Shorting the roll
8:57 - 2 Below the Break Spacing
12:24 - Atlanta's 5-slot alignment
15:52 - Off-ball switching as a counter
18:45 - Thank you and Goodbye
Enjoy the game!

Thank you! And yes, that's correct! I should've verbalized that better instead of jumping ahead to the potential need for the point differential.

This is tremendous, as always! Such a great guided tour through the film. Is it correct that the Pacers clinch the group with a win tonight given h2h in group is the first tie break?
Caitlin Cooper
I'm very glad. Thanks for the feedback!
Brandon Young
These film breakdowns are awesome! I like having things to look for as I watch the game.

Haha, I don't know about that, but I do know that I'm very confused by Atlanta's stance positioning and that Obi should be able to take advantage.

I really liked this! You have much more of a predictive and prescriptive mindset when viewing the game. Identifying what teams do in the moment (or even after the fact) is just the beginning.
Caitlin Cooper
Of course! I'm just happy you guys are enjoying them!
Brendon Bowlds
I just want to thank you for taking the time to do these. I'm definitely going to watch for some Toppin cuts after this
Caitlin Cooper
Yes, there should be plenty of opportunities for him to find his own usage against Atlanta's defense

Seems like we could be in for another Obi game? Thanks for the video and keep up the good work. These definitely add to my in season tourney excitment!
