Talking about Obi Toppin w/ The Strickland

Obi Toppin is not the only topic discussed during this wide-ranging conversation, which also covers the basketball played by the Pacers and their long-time rival (if that's still a thing?) New York Knicks, but he is the main reason why we're gathered here today.
I already wrote a deep dive on what to expect from Toppin with the Pacers, but I thought readers might also like to hear some insights from those who have been in the trenches, watching the Knicks, night in and night out. Turns out, the team over at The Strickland (a crew full of SB Nation alums who went independent) was already planning to extend me an invitation to come podcast with them, so we took the opportunity to turn this into a joint venture, chopping it up about both teams.
In case you want to jump straight to the Pacers-centric topics, here are some relevant timestamps:
30:00 - offensive improvements made by Tyrese Haliburton in Year 3
42:30 - assessing what went wrong for the Pacers on defense and how to fix it
57:45 - what changes to expect from Bennedict Mathurin in Year 2
1:10:02 - all things Obi Toppin
1:44:56 - how do the Pacers stack up in the Eastern Conference
Enjoy the video and consider supporting The Strickland on Patreon, for this and other great coverage of the Knicks.
