[4] Secrets of the basement

I'm lying in a huge bed, looking at the patterns on the canopy, and I feel... disappointed. It was supposed to be my wedding night, a night of delight, passion, and new sensations. But instead, I feel empty. That's why I'm standing at the basement door now, shivering not from the cold, but from anticipation. I could hear the maids whispering, their faces blushing, as they discussed the court executioner, a huge, bald man with a rude disposition. "He's a real beast," they said. "Tough, domineering, insatiable." Now I wanted to find out how true that was. The heavy smell of iron, sweat, and overheated stone fills the air. He's sitting at the table, sharpening an axe. His gaze is lazy but tenacious. "Is something wrong, Princess?" There's no reverence in his voice.
I take a step forward, feeling my heart pounding in my chest. He understands me without words. His lips curl into a grin, and the next thing I know, I'm pressed against a cold stone wall. The prince was gentle, timid, and inept. This man knows what he wants. His fingers are rough, his movements bold. He doesn't ask for permission, he takes it. I'm not a princess to him, I'm just a woman. And for some reason, it turns me on more than all the gentle touches of my new husband. Rudeness is replaced by force, and power is replaced by pressure. I get lost in the sensations, I feel like everything inside is on fire. It's nothing like it was before. He's not a prince, he's a predator, and I give myself to it wholeheartedly.
When it's over, I can barely breathe. I have no strength, my legs are giving out. He just laughs as he watches me pull on my raincoat. —Go on, Princess. So far, no one has noticed your absence.
