Newlife 0.7.4
🕑 Added 2021-10-02 01:02:13 +0000 UTCHello everyone, here's Newlife version 0.7.4. This first version may be a bit buggy - I'll pick up any reports over the weekend and get a bugfix version out on Sunday or Monday.
The main addition here is the lesbian lying makeout scene. I hope you'll all enjoy it, and do let me know if you run into any problems.
I'd also be interested to hear your opinions on the scene's pacing. It allows for both participants to have multiple orgasms before ending the scene due to exhaustion, although the player is given the choice to finish after each one. I suspect that the scene is currently taking a bit too long and might benefit from arousal gains being increased - what do you think?
Changelog:
Major changes & additions:
Added a lesbian makeout scene which functions as a sort of hybrid makeout/sex scene. This can be accessed from dates at home with another woman.
Added a new type of makeout action: KISS_BODY where the PC's partner kisses her breasts or stomach.
Minor changes:
Added some more variety to the titfuck action in the oral scene for when it's chosen repeatedly.
New LESBIAN_ORGASMS stat.
Female-start characters can now select whether or not they've previously had lesbian experiences at character creation.
Changes for user-submitted content:
Added the “lesbian virgin” field to female custom characters. If this is missing then the game will fill it in using the usual logic. As such, old templates from before this release should still work fine.
Moved causePlayerOrgasm and its no-cheating variant from the male-npc object to the general npc one, meaning it will now work for female npcs as well.
Please let me know if you notice any other methods that should be moved to all-npcs now that FF makeout content is in the game. I do seem to remember moving up some other methods at some point when I was quite ill, but I seem to have forgotten to note them in the changelog and I can't remember what they were now.
LESBIAN_LYING_MAKEOUT is now a valid scene transition.
Added a performMakeoutAction method to female NPCs. Note that this uses a slightly different method signature to the male equivalent so simply copy-pasting code for male NPCs will not work: the “rough” parameter is removed and a new “dominant” one is added.
Updated the HOME_DATE transition and lesbian equivalent to automatically populate the Pc's behaviour towards the NPC if it had been set before.
Bugfixes:
Fixes to text issues. Thanks to Sync and Tomboyfriend for reporting some of these.
Replaced the copy-pasted date-end text that had been left in by mistake with some proper lines. Thanks to Sync for pointing out this problem.
Fixed a bug reported by Modus0 where the PC would not get dressed on returning from the porn-theatre back-alley, resulting in her potentially being naked for the rest of her date.
Fixed an issue reported by Brobort where socks were no longer allowed with business outfits even when relax-outfit-restrictions was set. Socks are now allowed in business outfits if the option is set.
Fixed an issue with some npc stripping actions where they could dishevel the PC's clothing even when it was previously at further state of undress.
Female-start characters were missing a default hairstyle, meaning the character-creator screen was getting a null haircut which prevented the game from starting unless one was chosen. This has now been fixed. Thanks to Tomthehand for reporting this.
Fixed an issue reported by Silne Veras where a man in the club would treat the PC like a porn star even if her only porn work was a video he himself leaked to the internet. This action now requires the porn-star flag (from actual porn work) or for a video to have been leaked by someone else.
Fixed a bug reported by AnarChYsT where the charm-training scene could end up duplication actions.
Fixed an issue with the positioning for one of the sitting makeout's subpositions not working with the text for one of the standard makeout actions.
Fixed an issue where the PC wasn't gaining enjoy at one point where she has an orgasm in the blackjack scene.
Removed some duplicate text reported by Sync in the lesbian date that referred to your date as a “he”.
Fixed a bug reported by Brobort where you could get into a neverending threesome in the office party.
Thanks again for your patience over the last few months. I know I've been very out of touch as well and haven't replied to people's posts or messages. Now that I'm feeling healthier I'll hopefully be able to have a good productive month in October and really catch up with things.
I hope you enjoy the new content, and do let me know if you spot any bugs!

Still worth it!

Thanks! That's well spotted. I've updated that game for this release, and I'll have to give the blackjack scene a look over at some point in the near future too.

Hi! I'll be focusing on lesbian content for the next main releases, but I'll make a note of your suggestion.
Splendid Ostrich
Definitely lots more to come! There's tons that can be done with FF content.
Splendid Ostrich
Cheers, that'll be fixed in the bugfix version I'll put out this evening.

Looks like the condition was wrong, thanks!
Splendid Ostrich
Thanks, I'll get that fixed

Helping a Lesbian girl out of her dress (she's clearly not wearing underwear) - "Looking at her newly-exposed chest, you see her beautiful breasts, heavy and soft, still encased in a braless. " Should be either: "Still encased in a (bra description)", or "...now wonderfully and completely bare" (or some other description declaring bare breasts).

A suggestion regarding Lesbian Content and the House Party: during the House Party, Spin-the-bottle game, a Shy/Innocent girl will be nervous or scared about being kissed by the PC...but if you've already had sex with that same girl via the Lesbian club, that reaction should be relaxed, given the other girl will be at least a little more comfortable with both the PC and being kissed by another woman.

0.7.4 - Lesbian date, taken date back home, taken date to bed: "Abigail holds your face in both hands, her palms warm against your cheeks. She brings her face to yours, lips parted, grey eyes sparkling with anticipation. Leaning forward the last few inches, she kisses you, her eyes half-closed, one hand slowly drifting upwards to stroke over your smooth head." That last line about the MC having a smooth head...my character definitely does not have a smooth head...not referenciong PC's hairstyle correctly.

In 0.7.4 - Lesbain club, bring a girl home, make her dinner: "You andCassandra eat a meal together, although the food really isn't anything special. " Should be: "You and Cassandra eat a meal together, although the food really isn't anything special. "

Men can kiss her chest or body? Then, can men leave "hickey" on her chest or neck? I look forward to the scenes where Jerk intentionally leaves numerous lewd "hickey" on her breast or neck. Just as a male lion marks his territory, Jerk will do it to show off to other men she encounters in her daily life, such as on the streets, clubs, workplaces, or to let them know she belongs to him. And I hope that the men she encounters in her daily life will give her various reactions and comments whenever they find the "hickey" on her breast or neck. Also I look forward to BF's reaction when he finds that jerk's "hickey" remains on her breast or neck. I also want to see PC guess Jerk's intention and resist Jerk trying to leave a "hickey" on her breast. Her resistance meaninglessly ends up leaving a lot of Jerk's "hickey" on her breast, and I want to see her lamenting it as she looks at her bare breast in the mirror. I hope Jerk, who has "Sleazy" and "Crude" and "MISANTHROPE", will leave "teeth-marks"(A light but clear bite with his teeth.) on her breast or on the areola than "hickey." Because when Jerk marks his territory, I think it'll be more "Jerk."

Hmmm...I updated a couple of my user-created female NPCs to include the "lesbian virgin: TRUE" line (even went so far as to copy'n'paste from the NPC guide), and the game rejected the NPC files saying "Unrecognised entry: lesbian virgin". Edit the line out, and the NPC is valid again.
