JuneXIV Revisits + Update
🕑 Added 2025-06-04 15:00:22 +0000 UTCHello! It's June already, and just like last year, it's time for some revisits. starting off with FF14's
2 animations per character revisit. planned to add some more character, alas, as usual I wasted too much time fixing stuff. some animation don't have nude variations as a result. tis what it is. posing them early really did end up saving me time though.
I'll animate more Duo Sphene threesome when it's time for the new Sphene to debut.

NEW MODEL
I skipped her last week because of server maintenance, so it's her turn this time. it's Wayakkwe.
..I really can't trust FF14 lighting... making color appear not as it should. like the jacket look greenish ingame but when imported to Blender with correct color values, they appear yellowish. same case with Cirina a while back. tbh idk if it's the lighting or it's because they use too much filters. sometimes things look too washed out, sometimes things look too warm. it's confusing.
After Eutrope who always seem to look angry, now we have Wayakkwe...who is always seem to frown in all the screenshots I've seen.
I admit I haven't learned enough stuff about her or any Dawntrail NPCs. So thank you for those who explain their quick lore summary to me. I really appreciate it. it saves me time. gave me some good ideas as well for them. My plan for her is the same old debut set like every other character. maybe including Nostalgia in some of her animations like I said in previous post.

I grabbed her off the demo. And she is not done yet. I'm currently having a hard time with her shaders trying to make her to look as good as she looks ingame. especially her hair and eyes.
I'm just that bad at adapting some Unreal's shaders to Blender. perhaps I'm missing some materials...it's only a demo after all. 2 days after the demo released on PC, people already grabbed Eve and shared her model on the internet. with luck, I won't even have to rig the rest of the characters. The game is really that popular. ....while I can just leave it to pro rigger and shader master out there, I still want to try to do my own rig and shaders on the characters too. (though, if someone released better optimized models than mine, I'll just use theirs. haven't checked on all of them.)

UP NEXT
The Monthly 15 is next followed by Barn's mother debut the week after. when Barn's mother is out of the way, then I can finally use the monthly timeslot for debuting FF7R characters.
I'm still deciding on who to add for the other revisits late this month. so far I've added ZERO beside Cissnei and Tifa. been awhile since I animated her. I'll add more characters.... perhaps a KH character? if not, I'll just animate more CC Cissnei. I just want more Cissnei really.
That is all for this week. I'll buy Stellar Blade next week, I don't think I can play it this month, but at least I can tinker with the game files while rendering some animations as usual.

Holy shit, Lily from Stellar Blade?! I'd genuinely be over the moon if you start doing Stellar Blade animations! the only issue is, something doesn't feel right with the models that is available right now... like, Eve for example just doesn't look like how she does in game
