Progress Update 1.05 : 16/11/2020
🕑 Added 2020-11-16 01:07:10 +0000 UTCIt's halfway through the month so it's time for another progress update!
As I've already previously (maybe) have mentioned before, 1.05 will be the last build before you have to choose a Romance Candidate. As which character will get the first spot... Find out in due time!
Returning back to the actual topic, in this build, you'll finally get to decide whether you will be sticking with the lion or the tiger. Both choices will offer a couple of its own scenario as well as potentially boosting their 'relationship points'.
For guidance, picking Gran will allow you to spend more time with the following characters: Gran, Dave and Roderick.
Else : Pierre and Norman.
Keep in mind that these choices may open up future conversations and so as a rule of thumb, it might be wise to consider in choosing the character that you'd like to pursue in the future. Do whatever you like though because, in the end, you'll be back in the Police Department. ^^
As requested, I've managed to add an option in the preference that should enable you to switch between the default and Dyslexic fonts... However, in doing so I miiiight have broken the older saves... Whoops. So I think you'll have to start the playthrough from the beginning... (So sorry! ^^')
I think that is all that I have to say. (other than the sneak peek to future potential side characters in the future!) ;^)

I also have to say LOVE that drawing. The one on the left, her eyes LOL. I said in my head when I noticed her stare, "Yep girl, DAMNNNNNN" haha my eyes went straight to that focal point too.

Love this update, well done. Thank you for that. To save you some headache you might just want to put a notice upon load of the game something along the lines: "Due to the very early development stage of this project, saves are not guaranteed with each new build." Then something along the lines of while I will try my best to keep saves working. If you run into any difficulties reach out on your discord or patreon discussions forums. That way you won't feel guilty of breaking builds in cases like that you mentioned :)
Oh. I think AFCL uses similar UI. I think that will be alright.

Not the exact values, but I'm thinking of adding some hints (Like notification if reputation increased or something along those lines.). I don't really want players to focus on statistics, you know min and maxing kinda thing, because I feel that it'll just ruin the flavour and immersion. Do let me know how you feel about it.
Will you implement a way to track this "RP" system in the future updates?
