It's a delight to watch you being as delighted with Yes, Prime Minister as I was when I first watched it, oh so many years ago. I appreciate that the BBC is a pretty harsh guardian of their copyright but please do keep trying, Connor; they are so well written, still fresh and relevant today and it's such a joy to revisit them through the prism of your views and reactions.

The reference to the Bulgarian secret service and umbrellas refers to the murder of a Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov, who was killed on a London street and it was suspected he’d been shot by a poison dart from a weapon hidden in an umbrella…. Late 1970s. Think they decided in the end that it hadn’t been in an umbrella….
