Your Rogue One video is why I'm a Patreon. First video and I was impressed, wanted to aid in the cause of allowing you continue doing what you do. To your point, it's kind of akin to videos that ask me to like and suscribe within the first five seconds. I want to watch the actual content before I make that kind of commitment :) Creators should lead with their passions, goals etc in the environment you describe otherwise the self-promotion is like a stream of introductions at a party, I'm going to forget almost as soon as you tell me.
