Saturday Pics | October 2024 IV
🕑 Added 2024-10-26 23:58:00 +0000 UTCHello people! Saturday pics are here! π€© Alongside today's pics, I will also share some info on what to expect for S2E2. So, let's start!!!
1) I'm trying to bring a lot of extra interactivity in S2E2, the OMNI photo studio will be a place in which Jennifer will be able to start working doing some photoshoots, here, in this gif, you can see the new functionality already implemented in the game.
2) Getting everything ready to start a photoshoot with our Jen!!! π
3) Lovely Jen!!! π₯°π
4) Fred is back in S2E2!!! What plan is Fred cooking up with Jen? π€π²
This update is challenging. It's the beginning of giving IoM a more open-world feeling. It's challenging because of many factors, the main one being coding, but everything that has been done so far is working pretty well, and I've a good feeling that it will be a pretty good update. But some modifications I am making can affect S2E1, so it requires having a lot of attention to detail, one small mistake and I can break S2E1. However, I repeat that everything I am showing is working very well.
S2E2 will probably be the update where many previous characters reappear (the massage center is a clear example), but in addition, some other previous characters will return.
In addition to the new way the massage center and the photo studio will work, there are more that are already done; however, they are surprises; you know I do not give spoilers. π
Some people have started asking me when the next update will be out (and I understand how eager people are to play S2E2! π€©π€©π€© ), most people know that I only announce it 7 days in advance and that way of announcing it will stay, for people who are new, the way I do it is that I first finish the update, then translate it, then test it in several languages, and if the results are positive, then I make the announcement. (Announcing without testing can only result in unnecessary stress and faulty releases, which I try to avoid). A release like S2E2 especially needs a lot of testing to check that everything works properly; all extra features must be rigorously tested to give everyone the best possible experience. It's insanely difficult to make a bugless release, especially a complex update like S2E2, but I will do my best to achieve it!π
There are still several things I want to add to this update to make it a worthy rival to the previous ones π, but these things will be worth the wait and I'm already cooking them. ππ
See you all tomorrow and I hope everyone is having a great weekend! ππΊ

Thanks a lot, Jikelchi!!! I think it's better to take some time to be sure that everything is working properly. π There are so many people supporting IoM that it causes me a lot of stress to think that I can make a launch and have a game-breaking bug. π There is always a possibility, especially if the coding gets more complex, but I try to reduce it as much as possible and try to aim for bugless releases for everyone. π

Thanks for update! Happy coding! I can wait, seen too many rushed releases. It's done when it's done.
