Season 1 and Season 2 of IoM - Important Info (Must read! π)
🕑 Added 2023-07-30 20:00:03 +0000 UTCHello people!! Those who have been here with me for a while know that I'm pretty straightforward with the community, and that's what you deserve. After all, this game became a reality thanks to each and every one of you. So, let me explain the process I'll be undertaking in the next 2 months.
- Since Season 1 of Innocence Or Money has already concluded, I will be going through a remastering process. What do I mean by remastering? All the animations from V 0.01 onwards will be brought to 4K 60fps (yes, ALL of them, starting from V 0.01 π²). Please keep in mind that this is remastering, not re-rendering (re-rendering would take months). Additionally, I'll include some new renders and modify the old sounds. I'd like to implement the sound from the steamy scenes you saw in the last version into the older versions. (IoM has been alive for already two years: the quality of the animations of the first updates is no longer sufficient. We need to be able to see the lovely Jen in her full glory! πππ)
- I'll also be adding some new text in the style of a narrator, as seen in the latest version.
- All texts from V 0.01 onwards will be reviewed and revised. π
- Although SOPHIE AI had its first release in the latest game update, and it's a project that has taken me months to develop, it's still in its early stages. I already have a way more advanced version that I want to implement soon. This will greatly improve the current translations and add more languages, so people who don't speak English can play in their native language. SOPHIE is coming...
- Once this is done, I'll prepare a Steam version of Season 1. The Steam version, due to its rules, cannot contain any mention of Patreon, for example, when Fred sees Patreon on his computer, that cannot be in the game. So, this version requires certain adjustments to be able to be published on Steam. β
- Once the Steam version is finalized, I'll make the necessary adjustments to release the remastered version on Patreon.
- Then I'll take a 7 to 14-day vacation to refresh my mind and finish shaping the ideas I already have in mind for Season 2. The beach helps with inspiration π (Marci likes to go to the beach to clear his mind, get new ideas, and find inspiration...) ββ±
- The code/programming of the game for Season 2 of IoM will be completely overhauled. This will ultimately allow me to progress a bit faster in development and incorporate many new things into the game in the future.
I'm informing everyone about the process that will take place in the coming weeks. The Saturday and Sunday photos will be related to this process. I was going to put the Patreon page on pause, but because a few months ago I changed the subscription model to what I considered fairer (no matter the day someone subscribes, they will have access for an entire month), this has an unexpected consequence. If I were to put the Patreon page on pause, then no new person could subscribe... I don't understand this functioning, but they are the owners of the platform, and they decide how it works.
In summary, this message is to keep everyone informed about the process that will take place over the next 2 months. During the process, I cannot pause Patreon because it would block anyone new who wants to play IoM. If anyone wants to pause their subscription during that time, obviously, they are free to do so, I understand. Ultimately, this game is thanks to all of you, and I think it's important to be open about this aspect and keep everyone informed about the game's development process.
I probably will be sharing in the following Saturday and Sunday pics, extra renders that will have the re-mastered editions, info about the process and the languages that I will be adding, and also, in Discord, the upgraded animations, which will be smoother and 4k 60fps (Since the moment that Jen started cleaning Fred's desk. )π€©
You have put your trust in me π, in IoM, and you deserve to be well-informed. I'm going to polish IoM Season 1, turning it into a gem π, and then I'll start Season 2 to make it even better than the first! π€©
Even if I know that doing this is a lot of work, I keep aiming to do this and release the first Chapter of Season 2 this year. (This chapter won't be as long as any of the last 2 updates), I can't promise that it will be launched, but I can promise that I'll do my best to be able to achieve both things (Season 1 Re-mastered and the first chapter of Season 2 this year) π
I wish everyone a fantastic week!

Hello Aduasen! π Don't worry, about it. There are many players from Germany here, and I'm planning on keeping both. (The Steam version and the Patreon version) And I give priority to Patreon. π My plan (at the moment) is to only release full versions on Steam. So the Patreon version is more up-to-date. (Someone from Germany told me a long time ago a way to install the game via commands, but I don't remember the process π )
