I suck ass at racing games, so watching people enjoy them is nice. However, if you want a Sonic racer that does focus on skill, I'd suggest the free fangames Sonic Robo Blast (which had a racing mode iirc) and Ring Racer. They're good fun, though the latter has... a bit of a steep barrier of entry skill wise. Ah, the Metroid Alarm. How I missed you so. On the off chance you don't get to make a video before the holidays, I want to wish you well ahead of time. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to in these frankly depressing times. Life is a struggle, but it doesn't have to be all bleak, and there's gotta be a light at the end of the tunnel. Be well, Johnny.

Also to add one thing a tip for the land and water sections, if you start a drift charge but let go of your accelerator while still holding your drift button, you wont cancel your charge and you can still make tighter turns which is basically a requirement for mastering super sonic speed especially

I have only played all star transformed and I thought it was pretty good but no one wanted to play with me so I dropped it quickly afterwards so I have zero interest in this one but I may get it just so that sonic can flip Mario off for having a more successful racing game this year.

Just got crosswolrds this week and it’s pretty good. Music isn’t really doing it for me though which is a shame considering TSR’s soundtrack was amazing. This game has also proven that Omega is the funniest character in this entire franchise.

The DLC characters going unvoiced is one of the biggest travesties of this game in my opinion. I get how it might have been difficult to get Spongebob & Patrick's VA's to come on board, but the other characters (especially SEGA-owned Persona & Yakuza characters) are extremely questionable.
