The save system in the game is a fairy giving you a lightning, bolt in the ass idk if that’s better or worse than a fireball but good to know Spyro is either immune to electricity or has a electric kink you be the judge of that.

I personally think this is an improvement with the first game like Crash 2 was for this franchise. I enjoy more the world you visit and the people you meet and help or fight. I prefer a little bit of 3 but that's nostalgia taking over cause I played Spyro 3 on the PSX the most but I find it the most fun. BTW pro tip in Spyro 2 and 3 when you're in a spot where you're searching for those few gems in the level Sparx can help you if you press the R3 and L3 at the same time. He'll point you in the nearest gem you haven't collect it. I don't think the game itself tells you that which is dumb. But the third game do tell you because it's an upgrade you can get for Sparx if you do his levels. Which is weird cause he already can do it in the second game anyway.

Spyro 2 is the one that captivated me as a kid so it'll always have a place in my heart, but I'd absolutely recommend 3 over it these days. It doesn't do anything new but the levels and minigames are just plain more fun.

I prefer Spyro 1 over Spyro 2, with the caveat that I’ve only ever played Reignited. I like that Spyro 1 is all platforming and no minigames. 3 is still very good though because they use other playable characters in place of some of the minigames. There still are minigames, but there’s less of them.

Never played much of this game…’s remake in Spyro Reignited. 100% the og game, but I don’t think I made it past the first world and I’m not sure why as I did enjoy myself, probably got distracted by other stuff or that I was playing the okay enough Switch version with what looked like a poor resolution. Great video though, laughed a few times especially with that Hunter villain bit.

My favorite part in spyro 2 is when your fighting Ripto in the last bit and you get the 3 orbs he immiditly starts freaking out and running from you that made me laugh so much as a kid lol
