That poor, abused, little yellow duck . . . I suspect one of the reasons the projectile flew out of the aluminum plate was that it hit so high - the energy translated into rotational force, spinning the plate, instead of staying linear and penetrating, as it might have if it impacted at the center. What an interesting slug - it seemed incredibly stable in flight. Those hardened tips seemed the measure of anything!
