Improvised Ticklish Strategy

Rocky certainly had the daredevil spirit, and his cousin Freckle... well, Freckle tried to keep both alive. Neither expected what came next.
The ambush hit moments after they'd loaded up outside the city. Rival gangsters. Gunfire. Chaos.
Their desperate escape led them straight into an abandoned farm—and a dead end. Mordecai, cornered them inside. Ammunition spent, luck exhausted, the cousins had nothing, but a coil of rope Rocky had grabbed from a rotting barn post.
Mordecai's footsteps echoed closer.
Rocky's eyes lit up with that manic gleam Freckle had learned to dread. Before his cousin could protest, the lanky cat launched himself at Mordecai, tackling the intimidating feline to the dusty floorboards. The impact gave Freckle just enough time to lunge forward and tie up Mordecai's wrists.
But Rocky wasn't done.
Soon he started to take Mordecai’s footwear off and, to his cousin’s surprise, started tickling the black feline’s paws. Proving to be quite effective.
What was the idea?
Easy, to tire Mordecai off to the point that he couldn’t chase them any longer. Against his better judgement, Freckle soon started to help his cousin by attacking the cat’s armpits. Little to say, Mordecai wasn’t happy at all about the situation. Screaming, swearing and with the promise to annihilate both cousins as soon as he breaks free.
It must be said, Rocky’s plan ended up being quite a successful one. After they were done tormenting their rival, he was just too exhausted to be able to fight back... or move, at all. Leaving an opportunity for the cousins to run for their lives. After everything was said and done, Mordecai wasn’t going to go on with his promise. Maybe he forgot about it after such an intense experience; or maybe he didn’t want anyone to know about what just happened; or maybe, he just didn’t want to give those two the satisfaction that they did manage to get to him.
Whatever happens, Rocky and Freckle are safe, at least for now. Maybe Rocky would like to try that strategy again or even try it with other people.

Had a bit of trouble coming up for a story on this one =w=;
Funny enough, Mordecai was never one of my favorite characters in the comic. Even though, from what I see, he is one of the favorite xP. Still, it was very fun to draw him. There’s something oddly satisfying about seeing a grumpy serious guy breaking through a playful touch in the right place, don’t you think? ~.
Besides that, drawing these characters is always a pleasure and very fun xD.
I did two versions of it, one with 3 toes and another with 4 since I’ve seen people like that with this characters xP

Honestly, I understand xP Mordecai hasn't been my favorite Lackadaisy character Still, he was quite fun to draw~ And yeah, I can see him saying just that in the drawing xD

That's their plan so far :3 Someone who is KO can't keep chasing you :3 And thank you very much! xP I tried to stay as close to their personalities as possible, and, for that, Freckle had to be hesitant about tickling Mordecai xD Glad you liked that detail~

I never found Mordecai to be an interesting character, both in the comic and in the animated pilot. But, I can imagine this dialogue from Mordecai. Mordecai: "Hahahahahahahaha Rocky! Hahahahahahahaha stahahahaop this at once!" Rocky: "Hmmmm, let me think about it... Nope!" Mordecai: "Hahahahahahaha I swear, yohohohohohou and yohohour friends are dead!"
