It wasn't a fancall but I clearly remember an ARMY was watching JK's weverse live and since JK treats us like we are his friends and his speech is so relaxed that a guy who was stalking said ARMY watching his livestream thought he was her boyfriend and left her alone. So it is possible that just JK being JK saved her life that night. Personally I am on the fence about fancalls but with the right people it can be beautiful

Oh, and fan calls hit me strangely too... But I know a lot of idols actually like doing them, because they don't get a lot of chances to talk to fans one on one. I feel like if the artist wants to do it and the callers are screened and prepped with what's allowed, it can be really sweet and wholesome. But there are a lot of ifs in that sentence, and it really does rely on the company to take care of their artist as well as the fans. I have a story I would love to tell Jin, if I could, because I know it would make him happy to hear it. I could see myself doing a fan call for that. And there are things I can think of that I'd like to say to each of them, really. So I'm glad a few people get to, even if I never will. But the mixed feelings are so real. We don't own idols.

Jungkook, not that long ago, let us know in a live that what he really wants from army is that we treat him like an old friend. He wants to have us run into him and say hey friend, what's up, it's been a while, hope you're well. Want to grab a drink? He was very clear about it and that's what some of these callers are referring to. And I loved that he told us what he wants. I'm happy to think of him in that way, as an old friend I've never met. 😂 Also the "did they really come" at the beginning was a reference to a live where Jimin and V showed up at his house while he was on live with us. V went live briefly to tell army to tell JK they were outside his door 🤣 they dragged him out to get drinks. It was all very funny and wholesome. I was watching that one - I tuned into a lot of Jungkook lives over the last couple of years because he was just so transparent and honest and delightfully unpredictable 😁

that was so nice to watch! usually i see cringy and uncomfortable fan calls come up on my fyp but it’s so nice seeing these sweet ARMY‘s expressing their appreciation for JK🥺 and I‘m also just amazed by how he can connect with them instantly and make them feel comfortable and appreciated in return, it showed me again why he‘s my bias❤️
