I think that for $75,690 a month support from fans, we should get updates of how the new widescreen content is coming and some kind of content update. I don't expect to have content downloads every month because that would cause the quality of the art and gameplay to lower. I also believe that for that kind of money we should have access to wallpapers regardless of tier. Let the high tier have them first and in a couple of months or so allow low tier people to have them.

Actually we add capital that allows the production of said game ro continue. We're all more then entitled to at least ONE update each month. It also shouldn't take an entire month for another update to be posted, even if it's just, "still working on it."

Tech Update - 57% this is the current update and it has been MONTHS that the tech update has been announced, even before the previous release, when we thought it was that and darkcookie had to point it out that it was just a new patch and that they have been already working on it. Now you can see this $78,271 per month, a small team. They have either the money to hire new people and have also the right to be clear with who is sponsoring them, be 1$ or 20$, especially when the patrons receive nothing back in all these months of wait. For example, last update on the status of this 'tech update' was in april, basically half year ago. "We're not done yet and still have a lot of content to make for it. We're doing good progress however. The 6 new animations have all their art done. I've converted quite a few backgrounds into widescreen already and will keep streaming weekdays to show you some of the work being done. Keep an eye on the progress bar, as stated above!" yet, if you look at the update bar, art is not even complete but only at 85% So yes, darkcookie and the whole dev team, let's be clear about this, shall we?

I voted for the tech update.. and I knew EXACTLY what was needed to do that work. I've been a computer programmer for well over two decades. I voted for it because I also knew that sooner or later it would be needed. The longer we waited for the tech update, the longer it would take. So, maybe you didn't have a concept of what was needed, and that's perfectly OK. It doesn't logically follow that all others didn't know.

The problem is, people don’t know what they voted for, when they choose the “tech update”. They have no idea what it meant. Basically “rebuilding” the program from the ground up takes a lot of time, not to mention skill. They had no insight into programming. And i do know these games are not hard to make, but rebuilding an already existing one to work with the XX amounts of scenes that are already in, is a tough job. Especially for a small team. So if you voted for the tech update. Do us a favor and SHUT THE F UP. 🙂

Has anyone tried playing the game Wild Life from Adeptus Steve??? DC should follow this footstep in creating a company, and perhaps put out updates monthly. I'm not complaining, mind you. I'm just curious as perhaps this is the fastest step to go on. Get more people on the team.

yep. I like him and his game. He takes pride in making it a good one. If things are not to his standard, he stops and fixes them. My guess regarding why not more people and the production complaining comes to this: If it was my game, and my name on the game, I would want the highest standards for it. I wouldn’t want to argue with anyone about what I want. It would be tiresome and a waste of energy and time. All he asks of us is patience and input of new ideas. I can wait. To anyone who may be a little impatient about how long the Tech update is taking, if you have played through the entire game in it's current state they have to alter/update Every Single image that is in the game so that it can be used in full screen. So that accumulates to a ridicules amount of work while also making it easier to do it now rather than later where there would be even more that they'd need to alter.
