An Overdue Update
🕑 Added 2023-06-30 18:39:34 +0000 UTCI have bad news and good news.
I'm sure you have no doubt noticed that I've slowed down in my work rate a lot lately and unfortunately I hate to disappoint you, but I have no finished animations to post this month, which makes me feel very guilty and incredibly frustrated at the same time.
I've been trying to get Rinko done by today, but I've lost access to my PC in the meantime, so I'm left with nothing much to show. Admittedly, I've been trying my best to keep personal issues private and focus on what's important, but with the rate of how things have slowed down, I realize that I have to take responsibility for this and take appropriate action.
So to explain what has been happening: Due to family issues at my current place of stay (home) for about two months now I am dealing with constant harassment and interruptions to my work; having absolutely no privacy and peace from repeated provocations to force me to stop; constant efforts to take control of my finances and on top of all that always planting seeds of self doubt that made it almost impossible for me to continue to go on. I mean, I've been struggling enough with self doubt my whole life, but these past few months have almost reversed the efforts I've been trying to make to remedy this past year ever since I moved out. It's just terrible. I've been trying my best to keep a level head in this and not lose myself, but it's definitely not easy. Especially when it's your own blood doing this to you.
Yet, my resolve to keep making animations is as strong as it has ever been as it is only thanks to your support and the help of my friends, that I have been able to save up enough money in the meantime to finally move into a permanent residence to stay and get away from this mess. I'm already in the process of searching for an apartment, so in that sense a much needed change is finally in order which gives me hope. Which also brings me to the good news.
I will be returning back to the usual speed starting around the 6th of next month as I will be moving away to stay at my friend's place for the time being. Thus, you can expect the unfinished animations to be released soon after, as some are halfway done already, but I ask you to be just a bit more patient and I will get there!
What I do have to show are some WIP snapshots of the progress I made thus far. If you are curious about the progress of each animation, I still have the Trello link so you can check in periodically if you so desire: https://trello.com/b/B99BHeTJ/busty-damsels
Here is the current state of what I have (or willing to show at least, as the rest is just too rough to event be presentable):
- Nami: https://mega.nz/file/899jwJza#PwjF-LAyRmAYPbP5j9wgr5eaQKTnAEEV6e1b0PLh3JA
- Huzme: https://mega.nz/file/Jk8AxDpS#GZCqD1JsoqwSHdZACTw-WtgcFzx0hHs5EWF0JXFTwYY
- Rinko: https://mega.nz/file/5100jKZQ#G0mSsHowf5lK3GtHdDilKFAdXU-UA54sty1OZg1wahA
- Mona: https://mega.nz/file/clFhxYgY#Ua_y4ym3rvY_YB8d8NLKP8mor2Uwerk3wYO270WpUVQ
If you plan to discontinue support, I don't blame you, but as cheesy as it sounds I sincerely thank all of you for your continued support so far in this difficult time and I will try my best to bring the busty damsels back in distress!
