Poll: Should I add "day tags" to chapters to indicate elapsed time?
🕑 Added 2022-07-22 21:21:30 +0000 UTCI was DMing with a patron on Discord earlier today, and he suggested that I add a "day tag" in the chapter whenever the day changes so readers can see how much time has passed.
So for example:
So and so fell asleep.
* * *
-- Day 63 (Ethan's arrival in the Ten Kingdoms is day 1)
* * *
So and so woke up.
The idea is to let readers know how much time has passed between events/chapters. (The return to Gralden happened on day 86 BTW.) Let me know what you think in the poll and/or the comments.

Depends on how it’s laid out. Maybe use an artificial date system like the 1st of Dracobuary lol.

Certainly can’t hurt. You’ve done it well so far. You can just state it, or continue to add it to the flow. Example. ‘As the Sun shines through the window, “Ethan, look at the sunrise!” Says Taloni.’
