My mother told me for years that I was allergic to eggs and everything that contained eggs. I still ate things with eggs in them and nothing ever happened but she kept trying to convince me and everyone else that I was allergic to eggs. I think I may have maybe been sick as a child after she cooked them wrong and she just decided I had an allergic reaction, not that she was a shitty cook.
