Watching the first (for me only) AP right now and getting back right to the first watching in a very empty kino in Bydgoszcz I high five to the it's-iconic scene-after-iconic-scene conclusion as your choices of shots and sequences remind me of excellent lights and camera operators that worked at it and how good the directors work was

I watched this movie a few years ago and I assumed the ending meant that it was all in his head. He is haunted by vivid dreams of doing the acts that he performs and the true horror is that he'll eventually be drawn to commit those acts. Listening to Adam present the other interpretation is really interesting, makes a bit more sense than mine lol
