Siren's Playground: A Behind-The-Scenes Series (1/5)
🕑 Added 2022-10-18 03:56:25 +0000 UTCshe's been so closed,
she's excited to bloom
to spread her self
& fill the room
~
She doesn't ask permission to shine, she just radiates.
Like a star. Effortless.
Mighty and suspended in space-time.
Her call is not a sign of distress - never.
It's a beckoning.
A reckoning.
A sign of a good time to be had by all.
She is the invitation into a new way.
An invitation...
To let loose...
To kick off your tired old shoes...
To come on out...
And play...
~
Photos by Julia Raley, at a shoot with Emily Poste
This is the first in a series that will run every day this week, through Friday. The photos are some of my favorite behind-the-scenes shots from one of my favorite shoots I've taken part in, along with some words speaking in various ways to my imaginings and takes on the Feminine experience. Imagine the conversation a Siren might spark with you if she could. Enjoy.
