EARLY ACCESS: BYAMPOD Ep 136
🕑 Added 2024-04-12 14:37:11 +0000 UTCThis ep was inspired by some damning criticism of Marillion. We discuss what it is that set them apart from their early-80s Neo-prog peers... before asking where they belong today. And stay tuned for our new podcast - The Prog Paddock!

Good ep. You encouraged me to listen to the Andy Edwards episode. Besides Mariillion I also like Frost and Magenta (both of who do 'feeling' really well, I reckon, esp Magenta), and Edwards played for both. But that YouTube video has made me lose respect for Edwards. Yes, stir it up for clicks with bonkers hot takes - but the Marillion inclusion is quite unpleasant. It just seems to be based on envy - they are hardly as rated/widely known as the other bands.

That was a cracking episode. Peter Gabriel covered Mirrorball and you guys really need to see Elbow, we've seen them 4 times now and we love em, some tracks have defo got a prog feel to them, so I know you'll enjoy them x 😎🍺
